It is awesome! Works great.

My parent has a T-mobile hotspot plan but a dying hotspot device. For some reason, you can't just order a replacement from the vendor. You have to call in or go to a store and talk to a rep, they verify the account and plan, try to upsell you on things you don't need, blah blah blah. No one has time for that, and my non-tech savvy parents do not need to be bamboozled by some salesman giving them something they don't need. I wanted to get them something that worked with as little issue as possible. Bought this, overnight shipping, easy. Looked brand new and unused. Reset to factory settings. Put in the hotspot sim and started it up. Within 90 seconds it found 5g service and has been working flawlessly for the past few days. Even in an area known for weaker cell service. Laptop works, smart TV works. Printer is a different story but wifi printers from 2013 are tempermental on a good day. 95% of the way there, but we are back up and running which is all that matters.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The device does not support other sim cards of verizon and device given to me was too slow compared to my mobile data of my phone. Pretty sure also the problem is the device since why would it give a very slow internet connection if the data of the phone is faster. Is should be faster than a phone because it is a router that is capable only one thing. I am just disappointed and also sad since I am figuring out this scenario. For a price it great but the device I was not satisfied to have this problem to deal with it so I returned most of it. You live northern areas of Long Island. Signals can be so difficult to try to connect but phones can access the internet even it is too low for mmwave to be.

Typically, there was nothing wrong with it. Except, it was not fitting and able to accessible on the cruise because mostly of the hotspot is only working properly well on underground only, not available for the cruise such as connectivity, speed of the hotspot, ease of setup was also a normal functioning and battery life, too. It did nice compatibility with any operating system also. Yeah, it is also a valuable for money.

Bought this even though we have Verizon. I read many reviews saying it would work with Verizon but at the store they couldn't get it to work (even though I showed the reviews saying it would). My brother has one and has AT&T and it works great. gave it 3stars just because it was "supposed" to work with Verizon but it didn't.
