I expected aluminum, but it's plastic. Not a deal breaker. Also comes with a transparent keyboard overlay to keep the keyboard clean. Works well, easy to set up, and has a firm hinge for any screen angle. Price is right, I would purchase again!

I checked and read a lot of reviews for a ipad air generation 4 cases with key board, and decided to go with this edaiser Swivel Keyboard Case. My grand daughter wanted one for her birthday , and she was ecstatic the second she saw it. She kept saying how much she loved the color and how it made her iPad feel like a real little laptop. The fit is perfect with no gaps and no struggle getting it snapped in. I love the fact it has a stylus pen holder as well. The size is just right and it does not make the iPad feel bulky even though the case itself has some weight to it. It is a bit heavy, which makes it hold up longer, but it’s still easy to carry around. The keyboard works great and every letter types exactly like it should with no sticking or skipping. The charger works great and she has had no issues docking it or charging it. The swivel feature is smooth and rotates easily so she can switch between typing, watching shows or drawing. The look is gorgeous in person and the purple stands out great. It is easy to use, durable, and the functionality is perfect for everyday use. She has already carried it around the house nonstop and it has held up beautifully. This was a great buy and she absolutely loves it. I would definitely recommend it.

I absolutely love my little keyboard case for my iPad. I just got it the other day, so I haven’t yet had it long enough to give it a fair and thorough review, but after having it for a couple of days I am satisfied enough with my purchase. I have an older iPad (iPad pro 2017 10.5 inch) so finding a decent case for it is hard because most cases are made for newer models. Anyway, this case is so cute, it’s not too bulky and it fits my iPad in perfectly. It is actually kind of hard to pop the iPad back out of the case, it stays in place very well. The case reminds me a lot of the late 2000’s-2010’s when laptops were colorful and bulky and it makes me feel like a little girl with her cute girly little mini laptop. As of right now, the swivel works well, I can turn my iPad around as advertised and I haven’t had any issues yet so that is a good sign. All of the keys on the keyboard work, no faulty buttons yet. The keyboard light is awesome, you don’t get a lot of color options but you do get to adjust the brightness which is perfect for me because I have another keyboard that doesn’t get bright enough for me in dark spaces nor does it get bright enough for me when I’m in a dim room. The trackpad is okay, it’s sensitive and it works well. I’m used to trackpads that function with taps but this one depends on you physically press down until you hear a click to select. I don’t like this very much because the trackpad is sensitive to motion, so while I’m pressing down sometimes it moves out of the way of where I’m trying to press. I would have liked it much better if I could lightly tap on the track pad instead of pressing down until you hear a click. I also would have preferred if the pencil holder had a more secure way to store my pencil like the newer models. I keep my pencil stored away in a different location to keep it from hitting objects where the pencil strap is. I find it inconvenient for me to have to grab it from a different location than to keep the pencil near my iPad at all times. My previous case had a designated spot to safely secure the Apple Pencil and its charging adapter, I never had to go searching for my pencil when I had my iPad with me. My iPad is heavier than the case, so sometimes it feels unstable when I lay my iPad on non-flat surfaces. If I open the case too wide, it will fall backwards. I would have liked the keyboard to be just as thick as my iPad with slightly more weight toward the trackpad end of the case to even out the weight distribution. They could have added a secret Apple Pencil compartment in the case that would’ve been much better than where the pencil strap is at. Other than that, I do adore my case. It’s hard to find the perfect case especially for such an older model such as my own, but this one comes darn close. It’s small, cute, and it’s comfortable enough for me to type my college essays on.

Quite honestly, I don’t know how this product got such a high rating with over 1,000 reviews! First impressions: After opening the box, I honestly laughed… I didnt expect it to be metal, but I expected a bit higher of a rigid plastic….. It’s flimsy, and just “looks” cheap. (Of course, this is my opinion) the other iPad keyboard I have (Brydge) just FEELS quality, metal build, rigid, and Has a hard magnetic back for the iPad to adhere to. Maybe it's the swivel hing on this one that makes it seem less impressive and kinda wobbly to me. But, let's start. (I started writing this review on the keyboard and I had to switch to my iMac, honestly.) The typing experience is actually pretty good. The keys travel enough to get the "true trying" feel. But the surrounding (surface around) they keyboard again just feels cheap. But some of the keys are too small (mainly arrow keys) and keys have functions I've never seen on a keyboard. The backlight is cool, and thats the reason I bought it to try it out. The Apple Pencil holder, while may be nice for someone that uses/needs the Pencil, to me, it makes it look awkward and like a handle....thats not a handle. Connectivity? So far, decent. But I can't seem to get the speakers (that, also, to me, just look out-of-place and award) to work to test their quality. Last thing I can really think of when I was using this product.... the center of gravity is not balanced at all If you touch the iPad, the keyboard lifts up. (A 12.9" iPad is heavy already! but the keyboard on this item is not heavy enough to keep it flat!) I'd be scared to bring this keyboard out and around with me (I never know when I may need my iPad, so I bring it most places with me) but would be worried about: -Dropping it (I feel the plastic would just shatter, and not even try to protect the iPad.) -it toppling over because they keyboard doesn't have enough weight to keep it flat while touching the iPad. Edit: It's hard to get the iPad out of the keyboard case! And one of the "prongs" to keep it in broke the FIRST time I took the iPad out of it. For me, it's definitely a 1-star rating! (If I could go lower, I would, honestly.) And it's definitely getting returned.

While I like the case’s weight, color, and overall functionality, and that it comes with a keyboard cover, it has two issues for me. First, it’s not a perfect fit for my new 11" iPad Pro. The top is slightly bowed up at the ends, and I’ve had to pop the iPad in the bottom of the case several times. Second, the swivel feature doesn’t work well for my needs. It functions as intended when I want to rotate the iPad, but when the case is closed, it shifts slightly because of the swivel mechanism. This might be normal for swivel cases; I’ve never had one before, but it doesn’t work for me.

I have a 9th gen iPad. I love to use it as a tablet but wanted to be able to use it like a computer/laptop for work. It swivels easily so I could use it to check out clients using square if I wanted to. I was afraid that it would not feel sturdy like a laptop does but it is. The keyboard also works great and very responsive. The previous case I used had a Bluetooth keyboard but it was laggy. This also has the touch mouse (no idea what it’s called) which is nice for jumping around on the screen. The lighted keyboard wasn’t a must have but a really nice extra feature
