Merrell Women's Terran Lattice II Sandal

I never leave reviews for products even thought I read them all the time. Yeah, I'm that person, but these shoes deserve a review. I was looking for something waterproof and comfy to wear for a week at Disney World......sooooo much walking. 1. These did not require a break in period. I put them on the day before we left and wore them for a couple of hours just to see if there was any weird strap rubbing. Made some velcro adjustments at the end of the day and that was it. These have two velcro straps in the back and one over top that allow for great sizing. Plus, they look really cute with the small straps. 2. I have wide feet with little to no arch. When I try to wear shoes with arch support, they end up hurting my feet because it's like they are trying to make an arch. These did not do this. If you have a very high arch, these might not be the shoes for you. I also have somewhat wide feet. I don't have to order wide sizes in shoes, but not all shoes fit my foot width. These fit perfectly. That is why I chose "a little wide" on the sizing. If you have very narrow feet, I don't think these would work. Chacos have never worked for me because of my foot width and arch, but these were perfect. 3. I wore these everyday for 5 straight days of amusement park walking. I kept track on my watch and our lowest walking day was 14 miles and the highest was 22. My feet never hurt. The straps never rubbed. 4. The sole of the shoes are a very soft suede material. I worried about how that would do getting wet. They were never fully submerged, but they did get a little wet on a water ride. It didn't change the feel of the shoe at all. Also, they never smelled bad. I don't have smelly feet, but shoes can sometimes smell bad after getting wet. These did not do that. I think they would still be fine if they were fully soaked. Do yourself a favor. Buy these shoes.

I bought these after trying them on in a store and finding them cheaper on Amazon. I have a wide foot but find these to be not a big problem. I love all the adjustability though I wish the toe straps would adjust some. The back strap can come off entirely which is nice for those who don't always want to use them. Foot bed is very comfortable. The clasp is pretty fiddly and a pain to deal with but I am able to take these on and off without using it at all once I adjusted the velcro straps which is nice. I put them on the first day and wore them around for 6 hours to break them in and try them out for an upcoming Disney trip. The only problem I had was where they rubbed on my pinky toes a bit. I was able to get my toes out of the shoe and walk around like that a bit though it was a little weird. Now that I've worn them all day every day for a week and a half, the pinky toe issue doesn't really bother me. I think I just needed to develop that callous after wearing nothing but flip flops all summer. Arch support...There isn't really a traditional arch in the sandal. It would look weird if there was. But I do find that's supportive enough for me. I wear shoe arch inserts in some shoes but don't feel that I'm missing out by not having that high arch in these. They would be fine for people with both lower and higher arches. Definitely worth a try.

I love these. I needed something to wear around Disney World in a couple months, as well as good, supportive sandals to wear while I walk in the city or on hiking trails when my friends convince me to hike. These are light and not bulky, and as far as hiking sandals go, about as feminine as I could find without being downright girly. I wear them with shorts or jeans or a maxi skirt. The sole is nice and soft, forms to my foot, and has a good amount of support. The straps are comfortable, with especially strenuous pressure points being padded. There are two places to adjust the straps, which is a double edged sword. It makes the fit customizable, but can make it difficult to find the most comfortable fit. Some experimenting while on an easy hike, and I was able to figure it out. I usually wear an 11, but read reviews and sized down. The 10 is still a tiny bit long on my foot, but a 9 would be too small I think.

I was looking for some sandals for the summer which had enough support, and these shoes delivered! I ordered in my normal shoe size, 6, and the fit is great. There are 3 velcro pieces which allow the straps to be adjusted to fit the foot perfectly. The footbed is comfortable and provides great support. The straps are also great and don't rub anywhere. They're thin enough to still make the shoe look feminine and cute. The small clips were tight and difficult to release and buckle the first couple of times. After working them in and out several times, they have become much easier to do up and undo. I was skeptical, but the other reviewers are right, there was literally no breaking in for these shoes. I'm very impressed and would recommend them to anyone.

These are my favorite shoes in the entire world. I thought I lost them a few weeks after they arrived and was devastated. Absolutely devastated. I ordered another pair w/overnight shipping, because they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Better than my running shoes, my walking shoes, my favorite slippers, my laziest flip flops. These are the best. I slip in and out of them effortlessly and still they fit amazing. At first wear they rubbed my ankles a bit but adjusting the velcro a touch totally missed that. These have inspired me to purge my entire shoe collection because I now know how shoes SHOULD feel. As someone with a wide forefoot, narrow ankles, and tiny toes I have never in my life had a shoe feel this good. Sure my pinky toe peeks out between the straps sometimes but whatever. Better than it being cramped in a toe box that's too narrow. These shoes make me contemplate moving back to california from the pacific northwest, because they'd sadly not be warm enough in the rainy icy winter.

I have been a fan of Merrill sandals for years. Obviously my 18 month lab puppy was too because he chewed the straps off my last 2 pair. I’ve searched and searched and these were the closest to the last 2 pair that fit my feet perfectly. However, the straps are much thinner this time and the Velcro that makes the straps adjustable is not as secure. I have only worn these sandals 2 or 3 times so it’s not for normal and tear. Pro’s There are adjustable straps in 2 locations for a customizable fit which I like a lot. Some days my feet or ankles are more swollen so this is a very nice feature. I love the shade of blue on this particular sandal. It matches so different colors. The support seems to offer more side support so true to Merrill, they are quite comfortable, even after several hours. Cons I don’t like giving negative reviews. or even mediocre reviews but the tiny straps with weak Velcro is a major design flaw. For the price point of Merrill sandals, these are clearly not going to last as long as my previous pairs. I’ll be lucky if they make it through the summer.

I just needed sandals, not to hike. I also have huge feet (size 11 women) so have a mighty hard time finding shoes that aren't basically ugly pennyloafers. I ordered a batch of sandals to test their ability to offer support, especially ankle support, as I nearly tore an ankle ligament in an injury above my ankle bone that requires me to have good support shoes for the rest of my life. I kept these and a pair of Chaco Mega Z Cloud sandals. Comparatively, these have better support and are suede. I like the color, which is true to form. I don't like the suede and dread getting caught in the rain and losing that colorful luster. So, I use the Chacos when I think it'll rain. Chacos are also more adjustable, so if I have feet swelling (I'm currently pregnant) those work better. These wear in quickly. I find myself not having feet pain after a long day with these, which I can't always say with the Chacos. I'd buy these again in other colors.

Loving these shoes! They are very versatile and I wear them nearly every day and for every occasion - with shorts, jeans or a skirt. I love the thin straps and the pattern on one of them. Feels feminine and stylish. They are very comfortable for walking, and I never got blisters, even on the first week. The straps are adjustable, which helps create a nice fit. I wear an 8.5 and got a size 9, which is slightly on the large size. I have to Velcro the straps as tight as they possibly go, so some flaps hang out at the back and it's not as secure as it could be. But hopefully it will last! Haven't had any problems with it falling off so far and I've worn them a couple months.

I bought these after my last pair of Merrell sandals finally bit the dust after approx 5 years. I largely wanted them for summer holidays where I tend to do a lot more walking in towns or countryside tracks on uneven ground or uphill plus more robust walking at home during the summer months (the kind where my flip flops will just slow me down or hurt eventually from the lack of support). But I still want them to be stylish (I don't want to look like a geek). These are a really nice design and the white colour looked nice with everything in my summer wardrobe. The straps are also in exactly the right places to be supportive. And the base provides all the comfort and support I was used to with my last Merrells. I've just taken them on holiday and they were great. I even ended up using them to walk up a mountain (not intentionally but I'd forgotten to bring the liners for my walking boots so these were my next best pair of grippy shoes) and they managed perfectly fine. I can't say I would recommend them for hill walking - as they are sandals - there's a little too much movement for your feet especially on steep downhills and of course the open design means stones etc can get in. But otherwise I highly recommend these. In fact I'm tempted to buy another pair in case they eventually end up discontinued like my last pair were. My only complaint is that the buckle clip thing to close them is quite small - nice for design but can be a little fiddly if you have fat thumbs like me (I preferred the Velcro closure if my last pair).

Pour information Merrell chausse un peu grand, je chausse du 39 j'ai donc acheté du 38 et c'est parfait. Cette petite chaussure tient ses promesses, je peux marcher les orteils à l'air sur de ombreux chemins pas trop caillouteux, pour une petite randonnée en terrain peu pentu c'est bien suffisant. D'ailleurs, j'y suis tellement bien que j'ai tendance à les porter en toute occasion, par exemple pour arpenter une ville lors d'une visite touristique, je ne les sens plus à mes pieds, pas d'ampoules, pas de gonflement, je conseille.

Habe 2 Paar in verschiedenen Farben und bin super zufrieden. Da ich einen sehr schmalen Fuß habe, suchte ich Sandalen mit vielen Schnallen bzw. zum verstellen. Diese sitzen perfekt am Fuß, allerdings werden Sie nach der Zeit schon etwas weiter und viel mehr dürfte es dann auch nicht sein. Das Fußbett wirkt recht dünn (für eine geländegängige Sandale), aber ist dennoch super bequem. Trage die Schuhe bei der Arbeit, in der Stadt etc. und für eine Wandersandale wirkt sie angenehm zart. Im Gelände ist sie aber genauso toll zu tragen, sitzt fest am Fuß und mit den Profil rutsche ich sogar weniger als mit richtigen Wanderschuhen. Habe Sie sogar schon mehrfach in den Bergen gestestet. Wasser schadet nicht und nachdem man sie gewaschen hat, sehen sie aus wie neu. Farbe verblasst irgendwann etwas, finde aber, das ist normal. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass die Sandalen sehr leicht sind und man sie wunderbar verstauen kann. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen

Conoscevo già la marca, che non delude mai. Sandali molto molto comodi, con diverse regolazioni per il massimo comfort, plantare morbido con effetto vellutato molto piacevole che però nelle giornate più calde può effettivamente fare sudare un po' le piante, però proprio per la sua consistenza evita lo scivolamento del piede. Molto fascianti quindi ideali per chi cammina tanto, ideali per escursioni anche su terreni accidentati perché la suola ha davvero un ottimo grip, ma perfetti anche per la città grazie all'aspetto comunque non troppo sportivo. Le stringhe molto resistenti sono sottili e le regolazioni discrete alla vista, il risultato finale è sobrio e portabile un po' con tutto. In particolare ho acquistato il modello rosso che ha un viraggio di colore sul fuxia quindi per me bellissimi! Non rilasciano colore sul piede anche in caso di sudore. A breve ne prenderò un altro paio di un colore un po' più "serio" 😄

Buty bardzo wygodne, podeszwa amortyzowana, rozmiar zgodny z opisem. Ładny, ciekawy wzór i fajne kolory. Dobra regulacja. Buty są dość wytrzymałe i dobrze wyglądają po całym sezonie, kupiłam kolejne bo chcę mieć więcej kolorów.
