Great way to grow plants from seeds. Easy to drop seeds in a small pocket and easy to control the moisture. After they have a few leaves it's easy to put the plugs into the ground. I recommend this product.

Worked amazingly. Soaked them in water for 3 minutes, patted excess water off with paper towels, and placed 2 basil seeds in the hole on each grow sponge. All of the seeds had germinated by day 3 and some began showing signs of germination within 24 hours. Would definitely recommend these sponges to anyone.

Does not hold the humidity. I tried to plant my TC’s in the plugs, but it would not hold the humidity took the TC’s out put them in domes. Will not buy this or recommend it.

The pods are more firm than I expected. I don’t know if this is bad but one of my seedlings struggled to develop roots. Overall I find them useful so I’ll keep them around.

Super hard sponges (Yes, they were soaked in water.) Not easy for super fine roots to penetrate. I've propagated hundreds of dahlia cuttings in other root sponges and dirt and these are the worst by far Even after breaking half of them apart for the cuttings to have better avenues to grow into, they still failed. I switched back to another more expensive brand and had much better luck. Honestly, moist potting soil works better than these by far.

These worked great! I put a seed in each and almost every one bloomed.
