greT MECHINE MAKES GREAT ICE AND NEEDS CLEANED IF YOU HAVE HARD WATER I USE DISTILLED.

I will not purchase this item again. The ice maker began making horrible noises within the first two mos of the purchase and placing it into use. I contacted the vendor i purchased it from we have been going back and forth for a month and a half. The last communication received was a month ago. I have since reached out again, no response. I had already performed all the solutions that they had requested that I do before they even responded. I am now out $200+ dollars for an ice machine that doesn't work. I clean the ice machine on a monthly basis and only use filtered water for the machine or anything that I use water for. I am very disappointed in this machine and the lack of customer service. I had even sent them an email 4 days ago, prior to submitting this review to give them the option of doing the right thing. The noise is ALOT louder than what you hear in the video.

My husband bought this because the ice maker he purchased for me for Christmas broke not even a month after using it. I waited another year later and this has been the best ice maker we have had. I love how quickly it makes the crunchy ice and it’s super simple to clean as well. We use it every day.

For the most part, I love this thing. I have had it 6 months. My dad bought his before I bought mine. I have to clean them every 7 to 10 days. My dad's ALWAYS has black goo (mildew?) but I don't have that issue with mine. I cannot figure out if it is the water he is using or something in the motor of his that is defective? It is easy enough to clean (I bought the tablets and a little kit with brushes and sponges and such) but I could literally clean his every other day. I worry something in his is going to make him sick. That said, I would buy it again. Just make sure you are cleaning it weekly and make sure to open the little door on the top of the machine and clean there as well as take the ice bucket out and even remove the little filter looking thing and clean there. AND most importantly, do this a few times before the return window closes and if you find it to be excessively dirty, I would return it and exchange it. Too late to do that for my dad's now so I will just keep cleaning and hoping I may this time FINALLY got all the residual stuff out of it

We are on day two of this machine. I normally would not write a review this early but I can always update it. We have had several ice makers and the noice can make you go mad! This one is at least 1/2 the sound. One thing that we learned the hard way that is very important is where you add the water from. Many you have to pick up the ice tray and put in the water. Think about your hands and dirt as you pick up the basket. This unit loads the water from the top so you never have to touch the basket. This will really help keep the unit clean, easy to use, and lasting for a while I think. So far, I am very happy with this.

Beware of this company. Our machine stopped making ice long before our warranty expired. They will not answer any emails I send about honoring our two year warranty. There is no way to locate a phone number for them either. So disappointed. We have been without our nugget ice cubes for three months now during the hottest part of our year. Amazon reached out to us but did no follow up when we told them what we were experiencing.

First impression this machine is a small compact machine. Looks nice on the counter. Loader than my nugget ice maker. Makers nice chewable ice. Where it falls on its face. The machine has to be unplugged at least once a week to unthaw it's ice maker elevator. It makes a gosh dang load noise of it having issues and doesn't shut it's self off, which would be fine if it would correct it's self. Which maybe it does when Im not home. But the noise of it when home makes you think the thing is going to burst into flames. So unplug it for half hour and your good to go for another week or so. (12/5/25. Letting it thow doesnt even work now) The return policy through Amazon is a joke. Think this ice maker comes with a longer extended warranty on its own. I dont know, it like to try another one just to see if it's just this machine. Not wanting to drop another 300 and a piece of crap.
