Incredible!
*Detailed Review* We wanted a generator to primarily support our cruiser boat (30A plug) while out on the ‘hook’ overnight aka not connected to shore power. We were MORE than impressed by the power and efficiency this unit has. We purchased the 4000, dual fuel, remote start and all I can say is WOW! USE: The remote start / stop is a game changer for our use. We keep it on our swim platform, 20 or so feet from our cabin interior. It simultaneously powers our boats aircon or heat, stovetop, TV, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, and all other boat features (lights, water pumps, etc) simultaneously SEE VIDEO. We can start it and stop it from the comfort of our bed without having to get up when it’s cooled down / heated up inside. In the video you can hear it in the background outside the cabin, but you can tell it is not too loud as we aren’t trying to talk loud over it running. UTILITY: The machine weighs in the 60# range if I remember correctly, which makes it very portable for my husband. For those of us less strong, it has a nice pullout handle feature, which enables it to be pulled or pushed around with ease. So far we have only used the gasoline fuel but wanted both gas + propane for any reason one or the other may be unavailable. I also wanted to mention the auto off CO detection feature we inadvertently found out about- while the unit was mounted and secured to our swim platform, we needed to move the boat slowly 10’ or so. As such, when we turned the boat off after the move, we realized that the unit was off. We surmised the exhaust from the boat, directly under the unit, was enough to engage the generators CO sensor and turn it off. And that was an incredible feature we did not know it possessed. This feature is obviously for if the generator itself produces then is stagnant of CO, a safety shut off feature. EFFICIENCY: While out on the hook, we can run it at normal (non efficiency mode) for 8 hours on and off a day, 3-4 days of the week and maybe only go through 2.5-3gallons of fuel. My most appreciative use was during hurricane Milton over this fall. While we had intended it for boat use, it came in handy when we went down to check on our other home. During the power outage, we had the house refrigerator, the lanai refrigerator, TV, many cell phones etc, all plugged in , for 14 solid hours and maybe burned through 5 gallons of gasoline on the efficient mode. As you can see, we are more than pleased with this Westinghouse unit and would recommend it.

Totally 5 stars " I love it"
"I already own a 2,000-watt generator that I love, but needed another one. Out of the box, it was a bit stubborn to start that very first time. I took a break, came back an hour later, and it fired right up. Since then, it hasn't failed to start once in over a year of regular use. The remote start worked smoothly when tested, though I usually start it manually. What really sold me is the high-altitude performance: I live in Colorado and regularly run it above 12,000 feet. It starts every single time, no matter what. Never leaves me without power. Easily 5 stars and highly recommended!"

Great generator
Absolutely perfect I would buy this again. I don’t know that The push button starting fob is really worth the extra money. It doesn’t work from long distance But the generator runs great on propane

Compact and lightweight, quiet generator
We wanted a lighter-weight more mobile generator that was also quiet and uses duel fuel. The iGen4000 FDc checked all the boxes for our needs when we travel with our camper off-grid. Enough power to run the AC and/or appliances like the coffee maker or toaster, quiet enough to not annoy other campers, and light enough to get on/off the truck and wheel around to the back of the camper. I also like that it has both manual and electric start and a remote key, too. The only negative to our purchase is that the instructions in the manual are not clear for people who may be inexperienced. After many attempts to start the generator, checking over and over that we did everything 'by the book', and even calling the customer service number...it was only after watching a Youtube video that showed step by step instructions that we were able to instantly start the generator. A simple step that showed the battery wires need to be connected first was all it took...I know, pretty dumb, right? But in our defense, it doesn't show or mention anything about removing the panel and connecting the battery wires before adding the oil and fuel, and the customer service people never said a word about it either. So, if you're having an issue, before you call or throw in the towel and think you have a lemon, just check that you have the battery wires plugged together first.

Quiet and will run our rv ac unit
So far so good. Arrived in great shape and started right up on propane. Have not run it on gas yet.
