Review: I never thought I would wax ecstatic about a stapler (of course I never imagined I would ever spend so much on a stapler) but I'm in love with my Rapid 5080e. I staple a lot of thick (20-80 page) documents and I have gone through several pretty pricey automatic staplers (Swingline- Bostitch- I've tried them all) but the Rapid leaves them all in the dust. The other staplers jammed- were a pain to refill- and all eventually wore out on me. I was extremely frustrated. Enter the Rapid 5080. This is one quality stapler- High performance - never jams- Is extremely powerful- and has the brilliant cartridge system- an easy to install cartridge that lasts forever (well for 5000 turns) If you need a reliable power stapler- This is the one to get. Who knew that Sweden = High Technology :)) ?

**Q: Is the rapid 5080e replacement staple compatible with the rapid 5025e stapler?**
A: For the Rapid 5025e Electric Stapler, you should order 5025e cartridge - Amazon item #B00FZYTGNI . (It is not the same as the 5080e cartridge.)

**Q: What size are the individual staples?**
A: The staples are 13/32" (12mm).  They are for the specific (Elmers) Rapid Products stapler. Unlike some heavy duty staplers where you have to purchase different size staples to accommodate differing document thickness, this type of flat clinch stapler uses one size staple for anything up to 80 pages thick.

**Q: Does anyone know if these cartridges work in a Rapid 5080e stapler purchased from Australia? The RRP over here for a cartridge is over $135!**
A: Yes they do! I have a  Rapid 5080 electronic stapler and I order these replacement cartridges all the time.  You can get them on Amazon   from the Staple depot and they cost about $20 for 5000.  Works great.

They work fine. Looks like no one makes aftermarket staples for this stapler. So you have to buy the OEM. They work fine.
