It accomplished what I wanted it to do. I don't moochdock but I do camp frequently at a rec area that does not have a dump station and nearest dump is 10 miles away, so I wanted to pump from the RV tanks to a portable tank pre-loaded into the back of a pick up so I didnt have to lift it (250lbs when full). I have used this pump twice and found that it actually worked pretty well. I did buy a female/female garden hose adapter so I can direct connect the hose to the portable tank inlet. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and would buy it again. Pros - Grey water was easily pumped "uphill" into the portable tank in the pickup truck. - Black water mostly pumped "uphill" into the portable tank. - Unit was not nearly as noisy as I thought it might be. Was not obnoxious sounding at all. - You can listen for a "hollow" sound when the pump is dry and turn it off. - It certainly feels solidly built. - flushing pump clean afterwards was easy and unit cleaned up nicely. - Macerator fit the RV dump connection perfectly. Cons (Most cons are probably NOT a limitation of this unit, but macerator pumping in general) - On the black water, some of the solids were left behind. Since is does not flow out quickly in a massive stream as when normally dumping, the liquid can still flow but leaves some of the solids behind. Need additional water for flushing/pumping out. Not an issue when moochdocking, but adding more water to flush is not idea when using a portable tank. Still, a lot of usable volume available afterwards. - Gasket on RV connection of pump was loose, so be careful it does not fall out and you loose it. - Especially when pumping up hill, be prepared when you take the pump off the RV or hose off the pump as some water will come out. Have a small bucket or container at the ready to catch any spillage. - It would have been nice if a Garden Hose Adapter would have been included, but at this price, Im not complaining. - Having a case to put the pump, wiring, etc in would be nice. I bought a $13 toolbox from walmart and that works very well. Lastly, will this unit last? Time will tell, but hopefully using it only half dozen times or so a season, it will keep working in the coming years. Hope this helps.

This thing is so cool! I use it as part of a portable camp set up, and it (combined with a water pump and a propane heater) lets my camp mates shower as if they were at home. My use case is hugely abusive to the pump, and it seems to be working great. I imagine in a normal home use, it would be very durable. It has 3 inlets, which means it would be easy to orient it to your plumbing needs. I believe it is supposed to work for toilet waste as well, but I haven’t tried that. The inlets seem small, and the design would likely mean the pump wouldn’t operate until its internal tank fills, so I can imagine that use case might be flakey. Also surprising to me is how quiet it is… when I first set it up, I thought it was broken because I couldn’t hear it. (On the other hand, my hearing isn’t that great, so your mileage may vary.)

Installed and works! How long it will work is the question. Many say it won't last. We will see. I have had good luck with Vevor products so far.

Great pump! Comes with all the pieces you need, however the pipe sizes are in mm not inches. As a result you will need to adapt and cut to size the supplied rubber pieces. I used 3" rubber connectors for the toilet to the pump and 1.5" pipe breather and for the ejector pipe to septic system. I also added a shut off valve up stream of the ejector pipe for future maintenance work.

I bought this on July 31, 2024 and have used it seven times. It's been handled gently, cleaned after each use and stored properly in a dry place (I treat items to last). This week when I used it for the first time this year, it was running fine for about ten minutes and I was several minutes into emptying the gray water tank. The fresh-water flow was on full--no noises or any signs of the motor struggling, and the unit was cool to the touch. I turned off the pump to go check that the outlet hose was still in the pipe. On coming back to the trailer a minute later and turning on the switch, nothing happened. I checked the power cord, and all was in place. Double-checked the on/off switch and the connection--all good. Unplugged the pump and left it for a half-hour (it had not overheated). No change. Unplugged the power cord and plugged the short extension in to rule out an issue with the main length of cord. No go. Took off the bayonet fitting and checked the impeller. All looked fine. Plugged it in again and was met with the same result. So, roughly $11 per use and a great deal of time spent not only researching and buying the pump but troubleshooting and not being able to empty the rest of the gw tank. One other point. I was disappointed when I first purchased it and found that there was only a 6' SAE to SAE extension cable. Even putting that through a window would leave it short. I needed to order another cable and wait for it to be delivered. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this, and will have to avoid Vevor products from now on.

I had the 900w Vevor doing all of the heavy lifting (sink, toilet & shower) but when that one almost caught fire (electrical was charred inside) I decided to give Vevor one more go (we have a number of other appliances by them) and 3 WEEKS before the 1 year warranty on my 900w expired, they shocked me and sent me a new 900w. In the meantime, I ordered this 500w unit to handle the sink/shower line separately and I'm utterly amazed. The 900w is painfully loud -- sounds more like one of my power tools! The 500w on the other hand sounds like something's "gulping" every so often as it "shoots" grey water up the line. If it's in a plumbing closet, I'd imagine it would be virtually silent. The 500w unit is small... so expect it to be SLOW compared to its bigger brothers. (when taking a shower, water WILL back up ~1" or so in our enclosure as the 500w tries to keep up.) I used 1.25" PVC for the sink/shower lines and 1.5" for the toilet. 500w -- for a toilet, use larger lines (1.5") and avoid "deep" bowls. NOT strong enough for campers IMO. 700w -- much quieter than its bigger brother, probably the sweet spot for toilets 900w -- much louder, but more powerful -- design is horrible; I'd avoid it 1200w -- about as loud as the 900, even more powerful, use 1.5" PVC no matter what

Very pleased with this sump pump so far. Bought this 1hp pump for less than others were asking for a 1/2hp pump.

This pump works well, however it made a gaspy suction noise twice every 1.5 minutes. This issue is in the troubleshooting part of the instruction book and says to take the lid off and clean the sensor - well, #1 the pump was brand new so if there was a sensor issue it was from the factory, and #2 3 of us tried to get the lid off and could not get it off. Contacted customer service - super nice people and NO help at all. After 5 days of back and forth including sending a video of the problem they asked if we could find a local "specialist" to fix it. And despite that this issue is in their troubleshooting section of the instructions, their "technicians" didn't know what the problem was. That is ridiculous in and of itself, and - who fixes this type of thing these days, or any small object like this? Anyway, we did return it and are waiting for the same pump hoping we have a different result - the parts we shopped for were all sized for this pump and it was a simple install but in the ceiling - so I don't want to have that process or expense again, so I'll try it one more time and hope I get a pump that expels the water and then is quiet. A gaspy cough every 45 seconds or so will wear out the pump and is super annoying. Hoping for the kind of results people had in the 5 star reviews... fingers crossed.
