The quality of the product is very ... - Got to say, I was not expecting much from reading other reviews, I mean sometimes you get exactly what you pay for. However this is not the case, I was looking for a cheap way to start working out and build my self up to heavier weights. This by far was the cheapest and best option. The quality of the product is very good, I don't know why some people said the weight were greasy and had a bad smell. Did not experience that what so ever, the bar is made of very good quality. The weight stoppers work good, I have noticed they will get a bit lose but that is expected, any idiot would figure you would want to make sure your weights are secured before lifting every single time, and not relying on the product. So I didn't understand others complaining about that. There are threads on the bar so there is no way the weights would come off and hurt you unless your a complete moron. You should always secure the weights etc. common sense ! The weights are great, and heavy(for me atleast). Nothing wrong with them. Don't let any of these little babies who prob just complain to be compensated scare you off. Product works as expected, old school dumb bells.
Review: Excellent weights at a good/great price - During the COVID quarantine madness I decided to invest (modestly) in my own personal workout equipment. I don't need the high-end stuff, just something functional and affordable. These adjustable dumbbells DEFINTELY meet my needs! I picked up my first set (40lb) when I started a new exercise routine and quickly purchased another set (50lb) to increase my options. Nearly a year later and I have since also purchased the 60lb set as well as a few other plates from different manufacturers to further increase my options. Sturdy - These bars and weight plates have been sturdy for me with no problems (I haven't pushed them to the limits by dropping them yet... hopefully it won't come to that!). I have loaded them up to 50lbs to a single dumbbell and haven't noticed any stress on the bars. Variety - The flexibility of being able to add or reduce weight on each bar is amazing! Plus, these bars work great with other brands of weights with a 1" hole, so I have been able to shop around for more weight plates to add to my collection and they all work as well as the name brand weight plates. Comfort - The grips are not as nice as some of the REALLY high-end dumbbells, but they are similar to what you would find in a name brand gym. I use weight-lifting gloves and there is no problem with the comfort. Overall, an EXCELLENT choice for a low-cost, build as you go consumer who wants to get into lifting without dropping $300-$500 for adjustable dumbbells.

**Q: Can I buy additional plates to increase the weight? Can the handles, well, handle more plates? Will they fit?**
A: FROM THE MANUFACTURER: Thank you for contacting us. Please be informed that the 52.5 lbs or 105 lbs or 200 lbs Dumbbell set has 1.15" hole size, while the set 40,50 and 60 lbs Dumbbell have 1" hole size. Besides, all of our separate Handle and weigh plates have 1" hole size only ( we do not sell the plates or Handle with 1.15" hole size separately).  If you purchased the 52.5, 105 or 200 lb set, you're out of luck. If you have the 40, 50 or 60 lb set, you can add any 1" weight plate.

**Q: I just want to be clear before I order. The 105lbs is one dumbbell, not 2 adding up to 105lbs, right?**

**Q: Do the weights on the ends wobble when lifting?**
A: Slightly but not really. It isn't a perfect hold but it does hold rather well. It doesn't hold as good as a clap. But the product overall sucks. The weights shed paint everyone and you get paint dust on your hands whenever you adjust the weights (which is ultra annoying and possibly unhealthy as it makes everything you touch dirty and toxic with paint dust). The handles of mine also suck b/c half of the grip just does not exist. Really the grip on the handle is rough (has grip) on half of it (like how a regular dumbell should be), but then the other half is smooth/not-rough: it has no grip. IMO,  spend 20 bucks more at dicks sporting goods for a set of high quality weights

**Q: What are the weights for the handle and the collar stars?**
A: I have to 60 lbs set and my handle is 3.85lbs including collars. I just weighted it.

Got to say, I was not expecting much from reading other reviews, I mean sometimes you get exactly what you pay for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but need some adjustments

* Easy to change weights. Collar loosens but not a problem if you check whenever you grab it. * handle is only 14" long so can't put a lot of plates on it, so can't do a lot of weight or have a lot of nuance with several small weights. These come with 1" plates and are ok but if you have wider plates (higher end) you won't get more than 3 plates per side. You can buy longer handles if you want. 1" plates over 10 lbs are too wide to use easily on a short handle like this so you'll max out on weight with these handles if you add extra plates, probably about 60 lbs of plates per handle is the most you can do comfortably. * grips are also 1", which is too small to be comfortable for me. Would be better if the grips were wider like some dumbbells. They're hard to control at over 30 pounds for me with the narrow grip. * chrome grip is slick with decent amount of weight. Plan to wrap them in grip tape as you add more weight. * weight of handle is weird, between 3 and 4 pounds instead of standard 5. If you have other handles with a more standard weight you won't be able to balance the weights easily, and with math.
