Good Value for a Great Supplement
The price and bioavailability are the two major advantages to this Magnesium Glycinate. The downside is the size. These babies are big! This seems to be one of the most bioavailable forms of Mg available. Definitely better than most multivitamins that use Magnesium Oxide. I used to prefer the citrate version, but a little too much and you will spend a lot of time in the bathroom. I take three tablets daily, in divided doses, with calcium citrate and never experience problems. My labs were much improved so Amazon's supplement is performing as intended. I'm sure some people like the convenience of taking fewer pills, but my recommendation for improvement is to either concentrate the dosage (if possible), or simply split the dose further to make the tablets smaller. Since I take 3 Mg and 4 Ca a day, it's a lot to swallow.

Great results to fix general muscle cramping
These are wonderful and Iโll definitely be reordering. They are a little large to swallow, but doable. I havenโt noticed any after taste and they seem to digest well. Most importantly, they are effective! Iโve been taking them for a few weeks and have noticed a significant reduction in muscle cramping. TL;DR: I am a fairly active person with running, hiking, and heavy weight lifting in my every day routine. I switched over to the ketogenic diet a bit ago. Ketosis apparently affects electrolytes in the body a bit so its all the more important to keep these in balance. I had upped my sodium and potassium, but it wasnโt long before I was cramping up all the time and in muscles that have no business doing so, and out of the blue. I tracked my nutrients and found I was only getting about 100 mg of magnesium on a good day, versus the 320 mg recommended daily value. It is not easy to find foods high enough in magnesium to get my numbers up. I researched around a bit and found these puppies. I sort of expected an immediate difference, but it was gradual. I could feel a difference at first but it was subtle. After about a week of taking two tablets per day (am and pm), I found I could finally stretch out in bed in the morning again, cramp free! Before, even the slightest hint of muscle contraction in the morning would cramp my legs from groin to foot. I am sad to report, however, that apparently magnesium does not seem to alleviate menstrual cramping. A note on sleep: my reading indicates magnesium is supposed to help with sleep. I do have a history of poor sleep and use a sleep tracking app. I have not noticed any difference in quality of sleep, neither by the app nor in how I actually feel, since starting the supplements.

Best tolerated magnesium I've tried
So PCP are worthless anymore and overpaid. I have been complaining for a long time that I don't absorb potassium well and have a lot of issues with that and think I need magnesium and not one of them suggested chelated magnesium glycinate to me. Most insurances only cover citrate or oxide, so PCPs only seen to know what pharma meds to push on us... I brought up to my PCP that I didn't tolerate oxide well. Her suggestion was to take it at bedtime! Which then has me running to the bathroom at 2:30 am. And when you wear a CPAP mask also, that becomes really upsetting. Plus how can I absorb potassium better if I'm constantly depleted of it from IBS? I then found out from a Facebook Reel about the other forms of magnesium that my PCP didn't tell me to try. She just gave up and didn't care. Did her bare minimum. I tried out magnesium l-threonate and it did great, but if I missed a day I had bad withdrawal symptoms. Come to find out that the dose was way too high. So I had to withdrawal from it and stop taking because most of the L-threonate comes in doses higher than what you're supposed to have daily. Point being I finally got to trying out magnesium glycinate. I tried regular ones first and I was still getting muscle cramps in my feet and my blood pressure wasn't regulating well. Once I switched to this chelated type my BP has been getting lower and lower along with taking a daily potassium supplement that has a little extra magnesium oxide in it as well. I might be able to eventually get off BP meds with eating low histamine and taking the magnesium and potassium daily. Sad thing is PCPs won't tell you about this. They only know how to push the money makers for them onto you that have bad side effects. Especially when used long term. These are a bit bigger than I'm used to, but I seen to swallow them fine in the morning. I even use a CPAP machine at night so have dry mouth in the am when I take my meds and I'm fine. But you could always use a pill cutter to cut into halves to help.

5 Stars Outstanding Value - Rivals Premium Brands at Half the Price
After testing numerous magnesium supplements over the past two years, I can confidently say this Amazon Elements formula performs just as well as brands costing 2-3x more. The magnesium glycinate chelate form is the gold standard for absorption and gentleness, and this delivers exactly what you'd expect. Why This Form Matters: Unlike cheaper magnesium oxide (which causes digestive upset and poor absorption), the glycinate chelate binds magnesium to amino acids. This dramatically improves bioavailability while being gentle on the stomach. I've taken this on an empty stomach without any issues. Value Analysis: 240 tablets = 120 servings (2 tablets per serving) 270mg elemental magnesium per serving (about 65% daily value) Cost per serving: Roughly 1/3 the price of comparable Thorne or Life Extension products Third-party tested with results available on Amazon's transparency page Real-World Performance: I've been using this for 4 months, taking 2 tablets before bed. Notable improvements include: Better sleep quality and fewer middle-of-night wake-ups Reduced muscle tension after workouts Less leg cramping (was a recurring issue) More consistent energy levels (magnesium supports 300+ enzymatic reactions) Quality Observations: Tablets are medium-sized, easy to swallow No chalky aftertaste or digestive discomfort Consistent results batch-to-batch Clean label - no unnecessary fillers or artificial ingredients Vegan certification is legitimate Comparison Notes: I previously used Doctor's Best and NOW Foods magnesium glycinate. This Amazon Elements version produces identical subjective effects at significantly lower cost. The tablet size is actually more convenient than some capsule alternatives. Minor Considerations: Takes 2-4 weeks to notice full benefits as you replenish stores Two tablets daily might be inconvenient for some (I prefer splitting morning/evening) Bottle could use better moisture protection in humid climates Bottom Line: This is proof that Amazon's private label supplements can compete with premium brands. The magnesium glycinate chelate form, third-party testing, and exceptional value make this my go-to recommendation. I've already reordered and will continue using this as my primary magnesium source. As always, consult your healthcare provider before starting new supplements, especially if you take medications that interact with magnesium.

Cured Leg & Foot Cramps In 1 Day
Huge pills that I can hardly swallow even when broke in two. Extra large size supply of 240 pills. Normally I would not take these pills due to the size. I have to spread them out over the day they are so big even broken in half. However the almost immediate relief from disabling foot, ankle, leg, arm and hand cramps make swallowing these "Elephant Pills" worth the effort. The cramps have worsened with age and were so painful and disabling I had to try something different. Just bending a leg or foot or hand caused cramping so bad I could barely recover. I don't often find anything that I can recommend with rave reviews but I do it now in hopes anyone out there suffering daily like I have for far too long might try this supplement for relief. I also tried the Amazon Brand of Biotin and B Complex for weak nails and ratty hair condition and they also are working well in just a week. After such great success with these 3 supplements I am anxious to see what other supplements Amazon now has for the aches and pains that seem to just be a result of aging and possibly back and hip surgeries. Stay Tuned!! And Thank You Amazon!!

Good, but not great...
I think that the ease of swallowing is underrated. I think that the size mentally biases people into thinking it will be hard to swallow and that makes it so for them. Actually, some pills are very โgrabbyโ, or they dissolve quickly and that makes them stick to your tongue, or start to give you an unpleasant taste. These pills seem coated to form a smooth exterior that helps the pill go down easily, and not dissolve instantly. They are indeed large, as pictured next to a centrum mens multivitamin, one dose ibuprofen, and one dose acetaminophen. If that is a problem for you, avoid these. I rate cost effectiveness as 3/5 because another brand called Innate Vitality (IV) that I like sells capsules of 500mg glycinated magnesium that I believe is easier to swallow and is much smaller while also containing nearly double the magnesium. This pill is $0.08/pill, IV is $0.16/pill. But per pill, you get 3.7 times the magnesium with IV. When you do the math you find that these two products are practically identical in price per magnesium. They both work out to be approximately $0.30 per 1000mg of magnesium. Considering that, I definitely think that IV is the better product. I also like to take two of the IV (the label says that is okay for a stronger effect) and Although it could be confirmation bias, I feel like it relaxes my muscles noticeably more. Taking four of these large pills is less pleasant than two little capsules. But if size is no issue for you,I could see you preferring these pills if you do not like pills that are less dense than water and float in your mouth.
