Very detailed kit

I’d use “snapping together” very loosely. Definitely needed model glue, tweezers and razor blades to assemble this thing. I hopeful my 8 yo would enjoy it….i had to build it myself and it was a frustrating adventure.

Hooray! Only waited my whole life for this! I'm 45 and loved the Herbie movies as a kid, and still do. Thrilled with it!

So cute! My grandson is a Herbie the Love Bug Fan!for appearance I’d give it 5 stars. But…. definitely not a kids model. Very difficult to put together. You better know your way around models before attempting assembly. All the little parts keep breaking while trying to assemble. Not well designed at all. Parts are poorly built.

bought for my grandson he is 8 an figured a snap tight model would be a good starter i had problems poor fitting parts needed glue an had to end up building most of it by myself. do not recommend for kids.

I've seen this kit built before so I know what to expect when building. It was packaged well when shipped and arrived in excellent condition.

This is a fun and engaging kit, filled with nostalgia and a perfect companion to the Comet themed VW bug I made for the Wife last year. However, calling it "snap tight" is a bit of a stretch since just about every hole had to be widened, and, yes, glue is a must for many parts.

Complete and utter garbage. Bought this for my 6 year old son for his birthday as he is a massive herbie fan and we just had to chuck it in the bin. Cheap plastics and poor quality overall, I can’t believe Disney allowed their name and logo to be associated with this product. Completely misleading and not worth anywhere near what we paid for it .
