Hope that helps.Lenny **Q: How much yeast nutrient per gal. of fermenting wine do we use?** A: I don't make wine, but normally I use about three teaspoons in a 6 gallon ferment and it really takes off. My ferment finishes much quicker with the nutrient. I am also very careful with my PH!!!! **Q: is it ok for moonshine** A: I have only used it for making beer however moonshine is nothing but beer or wine that is distilled so i would say yes it will be fine . It is food for the yeast. I do not know what kind of yeast is used in moonshine but all yeast can use a little nutrients to get them going good. **Q: How much YAN does Fermax add if I add the recommended 1 tsp per gallon? The split between organic and inorganic nitrogen would be great, if known.** A: Thanks so much for asking.
