Had these for about 5 months. Used several times daily for opening packets and cutting food. No signs of wear or rust and a pleasure to use. Nice weight, good grips on handles, solid inflexible blades that seem to be staying sharp very well. Seem superb value for £11. Update - have had these 2 years now. All of the above still true.

Impressive scissors ✂️ 5 stars well worth the money

These are extremely sturdy all metal utility scissors.... very sharp and easy to clean. Also great for a left handed person. However as this was bought at the same time as a similar all metal utility scissor by the same company I can say for MY hands I preferred the others. The wideness and shape of the hand holds became quite painful when trying to repeatedly put pressure on the metal when cutting eg poultry bones. My others are more elongated and slightly thinner in width.

Bought to replace a pair from several years ago that was supposedly 'rustproof' although extensive rusting has since relegated them for when there is no direct contact with food, e.g. opening packages, poly wrapping etc. "Newness Kitchen Scissor, Stainless Steel Duty Kitchen Shears for Chicken, Beefs, Poultry, Fish, Meat, Vegetables, Stainless Steel Scissors with Non-Slip Easy Grip Handles for House Daily Use" are clearly not from one of the established brands such as Fiskars, Wilkinson Sword etc whose branding can be found on most non-food scissors in the home. They are designed to serve a single purpose so there is no facility to open jars and bottles, crack nuts etc. They are made of high grade steel and with a better than average grip within the finger holes. The grips are also steel and riveted to the blades for extra strength. They are designed to cut raw meat, chicken and fish and should be able to cut through thin fish bones. They can also cut herbs, some vegetables and possibly dried fruits. They are heavy but operate very easily and freely, are moderately long at about 19 cm or 7.5 inches and the blades are sufficiently thick not to distort, twist etc. The brand is previously unknown and pricing is similar to that of some less solid alternatives. PS - There is an option to obtain a second pair completely free of charge after receiving the first!

These shears are amazing. We raw feed our dogs, and have to cut up chicken and Turkey bones for our 19 year old chihuahua, and these shears go through bone like it’s meat. The first time I used them I had to double check I had actually cut bone and not just missed it and got only the meat. And I have huge hands, and these are very comfortable to use.

These are great, sturdy scissors and cut meat really easily. However, they are rusting already and I’ve only had them for around a month. Size is perfect, just be careful as I have clipped my fingers on the nut cracking part and it doesn’t hurt.

E' oramai un bel pò di tempo che le ho acquistate ed a differenza di molte altre forbici da utilizzare in cucina ho trovato queste molto affidabili, sia in termini di robustezza e manegevolezza e sia relativamente ai "promessi" lavaggi in lavastoviglie. La cosa più apprezzata appunto, oltre al fatto che sono funzionali comodo ed a questo punto durevoli nel tempo, a differenza di tutte la altre provate, malgrado i lavaggi in lavastoviglie non ho notato segni di particolare usura o deterioramento che è la cosa pricincipale che mi interessava.

Très belle paire de ciseaux! Passe sans problème au lave vaisselle, découpe impeccable. Comme elle est tout en métal, un peu moins confortable qu'une paire de ciseaux classique mais ce n'est qu'un léger défaut.

Ein wichtiger Punkt für mich war es, eine Schere zu finden, welche scharf, robust und demontierbar ist. Ich hätte nicht erwartet das ein Produkt aus diesem Preissegment diese Kriterien so hervorragend erfüllt.

Eine Schere die genau das tut was sie tun soll, sie schneidet präzise, gründlich und zuverlässig. Der Anteil an Plastik ist null. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
