I also find that it is a nice addition to any whiskey. If I don't feel like taking the time to make an Old Fashioned, I add just a teaspoon-ish of this, a big ice block, pour in my favorite whiskey, and stir. The thickness and clarity is what you expect from a good maple syrup. I also find it to be very reasonably priced

Best maple syrup if you like it strong tasting. Dark and complex and the bourbon aging is clearly there. Expensive but worth it.
