## Description

Easily attach your compatible 4-, 8- or 12-pin transducer to the transom of your boat with this mount that provides excellent sonar returns at all speeds. Since the transducer is in the water at all times, the mount does not protect the transducer from underwater obstructions and some drag on the boat will occur. The included transducer spray shield reduces excessive water spray from your compatible transducer when your boat is running at high speeds. You also can mount the transducer to the step of your boat with this mount to allow angle adjustment of the transducer so it is parallel with the water surface; this will create no drag on the boat. And since the transducer is out of the water with this mounting style, sonar will not track bottom when the boat is on plane.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work on a gt52 transducer?**
A: Check the cable from your transducer that plugs into the back of your garmin unit. If the cable has 4,8, or12 contact pins, it will work. This is a much better mount than the one that comes with the unit.

**Q: Will this fit a Striker Plus 4 Transducer?**
A: This mount will fit the GT20-TM transducer, which is the one that comes with the Striker Plus 4. I have it and mounted it on my Railblaza Transducer Arm XL. This is also confirmed on the Garmin website

**Q: can it be mounted backwards? Not that I want to do that but one review says the plate wont fit flush. It looks like he has the splash shield backwards**
A: I don't think it could be mounted backwards unless it was really low under boat . The mounting plate is flat on the where it bolts on.

**Q: will this fit a 73SV transducer?**
A: I bought  it as a recommendation to go with this unit Garmin Striker 4 with Portable Kit for my brother. I dont know if he has put it together or not. If your transducer  is the same as the unit i got it for it probably will, but i dont know for sure.
