This product is easy to assemble and works great. We sold our motorhome to save money and bought a camper. I knew I would miss our canopy so we got this. Perfect!

Easy set up and very versatile! My pop up camper did not come with an awning. I searched for an alternative and came across this. I love the versatility- use like a canopy, a wind-block, an awning… The pics show one side lowered which had our outdoor kitchen and potty. We’d used the enclosed side walls for added privacy and a place to keep the bugs at bay. I am satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this awning for my van hoping it would help keep things cooler inside, but unfortunately it had the opposite effect for me. While it does block some direct sunlight, it also seemed to trap the heat underneath and turned the inside of the van into an oven. The temperature felt much worse compared to having no awning at all. You can still see a lot of light coming through the material, so it’s not full shade, and in hot weather the heat buildup was just too much for me to handle. It may work better in milder climates or for short periods outside, but for van life in strong sun it did not work the way I expected. I am so disappointed because staying cooler was the main reason I bought it.

I’ve been able with a little tenacity to set this up on my own at 67 years old. It is very well-made the polls and everything. I would recommend it. I’m gonna use it on the side of my van, shorter side attaches to the van. It’s big. I do wish it had the option of a screen wall or 2 that zipped on with the zippers, which are high quality in my opinion. Great deal for the quality and everything it comes with.

Worked better than expected. I had wind and rain and it held up just fine.

Upon receiving this awning, I was excited to check it out on a sunny and hot day at the camp in California. I was in quite shock when, in a couple of hours in the sun, it was unbearable to be under even this awning without sides in place. The heat was accumulating, and my skin became red under this awning!! And I was forced to move under a regular $25 beach umbrella ?! where it was much cooler. No silver coating for UV protection, but some gray material with crazy absorption of the heat. I liked the design and zipped sides for windy or rainy days, but returned it. It was a misleading description of UV protection. I tried to use the sides to block the sun from the top/roof; it did not help, since the material absorbs the sun heat rather than reflecting it. I found another review with the same terrible experience... In addition about amazo returnexperience: it stayed in the receiving facility for 9 days, and it was not expected yet!? And U was told by CS tgat it coukd take 30-40 days befire I will get my money. First time terrible Amazon return policy service, did not experience that before. Will try to buy $100+ items at a different store."

I used this as a cheap alternative for a camper awning and it worked great! But the strong winds we had in Valdez Alaska did not hold up well with the poles resulting in a bent and unfixable pole. Overall great product. Very adaptable and kept us dry coming out of the camper!

We loved it camping

Bought on sale and used this summer, very happy with this vehicle awning. Read the reviews before purchasing so thought I should write one as well! Didn't take too long for 3 of us to figure it out and put it up, it provided excellent shade (camping in a field with no trees for 4 days), and withstood a brief windy downpour with no problem. Impressed with the quality of the poles/stability/fabric and looking forward to using it for years to come!

As states 3 removable sides but in reality it’s only 2. The third panel is sewed in and can only be rolled up. It makes it hard to do initial setup as the extra rolled fabric is always in the way. We have not used it yet and don’t know how well it will hold up against the winds. To be continued…UPDATE: poles are absolute garbage, the whole thing collapse once I put the ropes on . The poles just kept falling into themselves and did. It support the top. I am just trying to figure out how to replace this for return shipping.
