Highly recommend. This stuff does a fantastic job cleaning the inside of an outboard.

Cleans out ports in marine engines which are used in ocean environment. Follow directions and it cleans out the salt and contaminates! After using, engine temps return to normal.

This is a great product. I removed years of residue one the inside of my outboard.

I have a 2009 200hp outboard, purchased new, and it has been used exclusively in salt water all this time. It gets flushed once at the end of the season. Flushing every time we used the boat wasn't an option. After 14 years of use, I noticed that it was running hot at lower RPM's, and replacing the impeller made zero difference. I tried products like saltaway with very little success. I purchased a case of Rydlyme and poured it along with 4 gallons of water into a large plastic tub under the engine. I took my small pool cover pump and set it in the tub, and attached it to the flush port. With the engine off, I let it run for four hours, and couldn't believe how dirty the Rydlyme mixture got. Bottom line - this made a huge difference and cured my temperature issue. Running engine temp at 1200 RPM was around 195-200 degrees prior to treatment, and now it's running at 150, like it used to when new. It would have been five stars if buying a case of the stuff wasn't so expensive.

I tried muratic acid which didn't work and it had to be neutralized which took a lot of baking soda. Rydlyme took the deposits out of my outboard cooling system and now my overheating problem is a thing of the past. Several people marked it down because of high price which it is a little pricy but compared to the $2000.00 I paid to mechanics who couldn't fix the problem it's a bargain. I'll be using Rydlyme regularly from now on.
