I did, but you won’t want to. It only sticks out 1/8 of an inch from the wall and that is enough to make the television visibly not flat. Order something else that is completely inside the wall with nothing sticking out

Can i use this for samsung frame tv mount which doesn't have a gap between the tv and a wall?

Maybe. If you could line up the box with the inputs on the tv.
