this is not my first hydroponic tower, but thus far, it has been my favorite. I really love that. It was very, very simple to assemble! On other ones, you need to slide in pieces and lock them together and spin parts of the tower so that they sit right and sometimes they come off easily, but that just wasn’t the case here. It’s a very streamlined look and these baskets that came with this device such better than my other two hydroponic towers. They are big enough that I can use a sponge, the included clay, pebbles, or really any other material that I choose to use in my hydroponic growing. The pump, when running, is quiet it’s very easy to see the level of water to determine when a refill is needed. I use a liquid hydroponic solution that comes with both apart a and B and mix it up according to the instructions and add water and it’s really just as simple as that after I have started to sprout some seeds, which I often do in Rockwell as they are very easy to remove the rock wall and place in the hydroponic cup, or remove the seedling itself without damaging the root and add to the clay ball mix here that was included.

This unit is fabulous. The whole thing does not take up much space and I’ll be able to get a perpetual lettuce/greens harvest rolling with it. Great products and service across the board!

I didn’t realize that this thing would be so tiny. Also the top doesn’t get enough light; so I hung one of my AeroGarden lights above it which appears to have added the perfect amount of light because my strawberries took off like gangbusters and even have one 🍓 that will be ripe enough to pick tomorrow with more buds coming on. With the above said, I would I purchase another? No, it was a disappointment and planned to return it immediately, but I went ahead and assembled to give it a try and to understand how it works. I WILL be making my own with much larger “cups” that are large enough to actually insert potting baskets and hold them as this one will not even hold the tiny ones nor even my AeroGarden pods. I will also make it taller with a larger pump to grow and maintain year-around strawberries. I give this item four stars simply for being able to use as a model to know how to make my own out of pvc pipe and what mistakes not to make. I will continue using this to sprout my babies and get them started to transport into my larger ones I will be making myself. If one isn’t desirous of abundant growth with room to hold large plants over a length of time, this might actually be perfect for you providing you purchase a grow light to hang above. For having children grow things such as their own strawberries, it would be a delight and a joy for them to grow and pick for a short time until the plant is too large for it or you could keep trimming it down and have a berry or two for them to pick and eat every week. Just know that the “pots” are tiny; so that you won’t be enraged as I was when it arrived and was not at all what I expected. UPDATE: The timers for the pump are simply horrible. I soon found I needed to up my flow to 5 minutes every 30 minutes to keep my strawberries healthy. That involves 96 PITA entries to make that happen. Did it. Then my internet went out which lost the entries; thus they had to be redone, but I couldn’t. Wouldn’t let me delete them nor edit them. Messaged support for the timer company several times and never received a reply. I had to purchase better timers that I could just set it to “5 every 25” and be done with it. The timers that come with this or not adequate hydroponic timers imo. I recommend ordering good timers for hydroponics if you order this thing.

I am overall happy with this product. It does work. I have many more babies popping up. I have, however, started to make small modifications to it, as I have done this before. First, the plastic lid is literally cracked already. I've had it running for two weeks. I hate the timer, I'm buying my own. I really don't like that there's no wheels so I added my own, and the risers on the lights don't show enough light for the top row of plants, so I'll be adding more pvc. it does work ort well, but I also feel like they should have included everything in the box that the directions said it comes with.m, I had to buy a few more things. I'm a little disappointed but I am using this as my way to get back to growing, so I'll take the ideas and keep making mine better. Also glad I got it when it was on sale... makes it more worth it.

More than impressed—these are great. Came with the plastic domes which my original aero garden purchase was missing. The new stickers fit perfectly too. The plastic holders fit perfect in my aero garden (I have the 6 slot one) These new sponges (the darker ones in the photo) are small but once you soak them, they get much bigger. See my photos for comparison. The new sponges aren’t as long as the original aero garden sponges but that’s okay. I love that this kit came with tweezers because the sponges are super shallow. I had to dig them out a bit after soaking them. I was able to propitiate the new basil stems with roots and insert them into the new sponges. After two days, the roots have poked through the sponge—this was my biggest worry that the sponges would be too dense or tough for the roots to break through. I cannot say how well these sponges work for seed germination. I have only propagated basil stems. See my photos for two plants—roots are showing!! I am VERY happy with this purchase and the price point (under $5-wow!)
