I know that it has helped tremendously!
....though I am sorry to say that it has not cured my MinPin's cataracts (diabetes induced). I can say that these OcluVet drops have helped my dog see better because he rarely runs smack into things like he used to---and I don't mean things that are in front of him that he is used to (i.e. knows where they usually are, like chairs or laundry hampers) but things that someone has recently put in his way. (like a new bag of dog food just brought into the house or a bag of garbage that I've taken out of the can but not taken outside yet) Things that are very close to him he still doesn't see well but his distance/peripheral vision is definitely better than it was before I started the drops. (as if the drops have shrunk the diameter of the cataracts and thinned the thickness of them somewhat) Also, the OcluVet drops may have kept the cataracts from getting worse (bigger and thicker), and thereby leaving him totally blind, as I have been very regimented in applying the drops 3x per day ever since I started using them (and this is my 2nd bottle purchased). They are very expensive for the amount you receive, but they do last a good while--over 2 months for a small dog that only needs 1 drop per eye, 3x a day (any more than one drop just squeezes right out, his eyes are so small) I have had no problems with a leaky bottle, as some people have reported---I just make sure the cap is on tightly and shake the bottle side to side rather than up and down. Also, no problems with too many drops coming out when I squeeze the bottle---I first position the dog, holding his eye open, then turn the bottle upside down over his eye, then very slowly and gently squeeze out one drop. I plan to continue using these drops either as long as I can afford them (and with their price and this economy, who knows how long that will be??) or until they don't seem to be working well enough any more to be worth their price. MEDI-VET ANIMAL HEALTH please take note: Please, please, please lower the price of these drops so that more people can try to save their pet's sight?? You'll sell more bottles in the long run and help so many more animals! Cataract sury costs were out of my reach, plus there is no guarantee that the surgery itself will not bring on other eye problems that could blind a dog, such as glaucoma. After much research I felt that OcluVet drops were my only chance to try and save at least SOME of my dog's sight and I'm glad that I took a chance on them. UPDATE: Still using these drops (June 2013) but now I only do them 1-2 times a day, depending on how Tracker's cataracts are looking that particular week---and they DO seem to get worse in a cyclic fashion. When I notice that the cataract seems thicker or bigger in diameter I use the drops twice a day until they appear to be diminishing, then go back to one drop a day. As I said, I don't believe these drops can/do "cure" a well established cataract but I KNOW they do help with Tracker's cataracts. He's still running at almost full speed in the yard and unless there are very deep shadows along with bright sunshine (the cataracts keep his pupil from reacting quickly enough to the differing light) or it's full dark, he never runs into things, so I know he still has vision. The new, lower price is a welcome surprise, I must say. :o) I'm ordering another bottle now..... UPDATE: Jan. 2014 - Still using these drops for my diabetic MinPin and he still has good enough vision that unless he's in near darkness or moving from VERY bright sunlight into deep shade he never runs into anything, even in unfamiliar territory. When my dog was diagnosed with diabetes the Vet warned me that if he started to develop cataracts (and most diabetic dogs do), that he would most likely be totally blind in one or both eyes within 6 months, with no recourse after that other than very expensive (and possibly dangerous) surgery. And even after the surgery there was no guarantee that the eye(s) wouldn't have to be removed due to the onset of glaucoma, which sometimes happens after a dog's eye has had surgery done on it for any reason. I'm so glad that I found these drops! Now, if they would only get a little cheaper. ;) UPDATE: April 24, 2014 - I just ordered another bottle of these drops a week or so ago since my dog's eyesight is still about the same as it was---definitely no worse. I attribute the fact that he hasn't gone completely blind by now solely to these drops. His vet is very surprised that he still has vision after having developed cataracts over 3 yrs ago.

Highly recommend
About three weeks ago I noticed my almost 8 year old standard poodle had a faint cloud in his right eye after getting him groomed . Before not being able to see his eyes being heโs all black. Well I saw great reviews on this and Iโll tell you first hand they are not a lie. Iv been putting it in his eyes 3 times a day when I can remember to and I see no cloud and lot less eye boogs . I will be finishing the bottle for best results. But itโs worth a try for your fur baby rather than forking out money to the vet. They were going to charge me 500 just for the visit and testing.

These worked for my dog
This is the second bottle I have purchased. So far I am very satisfied with the results. My little dog is 14yrs old and I started to see the beginnings of cataracts. It didn't take long before they were worse. I am not saying this will work for every animal. I am saying in my dogs circumstance it made the cataracts half of what they were. I could tell my dog was happier and moving around better. I was only able to do 2 drops a day, because of my schedule. The instructions are to do 3 drops a day, and I recommend trying to follow the instructions on the bottle. I have purchased this second bottle and am trying to do the 3 drops a day. My opinion and only my opinion is that the sooner you start using these when you notice your pets eyes, the better results you will get. I also feel that these are helping her eyes to feel better overall (not to be dry, she has some seasonal allergies- seems to help with that, etc.) I feel that this is worth a try before expensive alternatives, especially if you are like me and can't afford them. There is a small scent, but not overwhelming. My dog didn't seem to mind me administering the drops, they seem to be pet friendly and as for my dog they were safe.

Didnโt help her like I was hoping
I really wanted for this to work for my dog who went blind since I couldnโt find the eye drops I previously used. The previous drops cleared her eyes up, reduced redness and she had less eye boogers. This did the opposite after using it I noticed she had less cloudy eyes but then she started to fight me when I gave them, her eyes are more red and constant eye boogers. Iโm discontinuing it and going to try something else that hopefully helps clear up the red eyes and tears. I know it wonโt heal her blindness but I want her to have some relief. I gave the three stars because it seemed to help at first but then it just didnโt. I added two pictures to show the before and after.

Worked to save a kittenโs vision!
We have a foster kitten, and he came to us at a few weeks old with a really bad eyeโฆ In conjunction with antibiotics and this product, itโs really cleared up. I didnโt expect it, but Iโm really happy that heโs on his way to have a good life with a full sight!

Seems to work
Our dog was starting to get cataracts so we started her on these drops and the Vision Chews. Her eyes have actually gotten better. I highly recommend them.

Some improvement after 3 weeks, 3 times a day
Human use is likely not recommended, but I've been using this on myself. I'm happy with it. EYE FLOATER (MYODESOPSIA) FIX: I have a LOT of eye floaters which annoy me, but my doctor said that these are normal and that they aren't bad enough to require surgery, but also said that surgery doesn't always work out and that surgery is risky, so that steered me away from the surgical route. Then I ran across some research papers looking into NAC drops for possible treatment of cataracts and myodesopsia (eye floaters), which led me to this product. COST: I'm giving these drops a try; I expect to go through a bottle a month and to use them for six months before giving a 5-star review. That is a ~$300 USD commitment for a six month test, which is much cheaper and easier than surgery. SOME IMPROVEMENT: Thus far, I believe that the floaters are getting slightly better after just 3 weeks of use (drops applied when I wake, after lunch, and before bed). NOT PAINFUL: I was scared to try these given one reviewer, but I can not imagine what a low pain tolerance one must have to find these painful. Granted, these are not anti-redness soothing drops, so you do feel that there is NAC in it which has a slight discomfort, but I did not experience what I would call "pain". NOT MESSY: These do NOT stain my skin or hair. I use a tissue to dab up whatever runs out of my eye and it is always a clear liquid. LOOK AT THE SHIPPED BY & SOLD BY SECTION BEFORE BUYING: My bottles were shipped by Amazon and sold by Ocluvet, so I am 100% confident that the product I am getting is legit. Note that the reviewers showing photos with yellow stuff in a bottle did not appear to have the product listed (the product I received looks just like the product listing); you want to buy a legit product, particularly a product that goes into eyeballs.

Disappointed - Buy with Caution
I think this has actually made our dogs eyes worse. Very expensive and no visible results, if anything her eyesight seems to have worsen.
