If you’re Type A and over-the-type when it comes to home maintenance and keeping your wood knicks in check, THIS is for you! This handy little tube of filler will be your new BFF for those pesky knicks in your trim, cabinetry, flooring and more. I go around my house every few months and touch-up. Yes, I am that Type A person. Just a little pea size is all you need, I use my finger, smudge the filler into the knick and smooth it out. Done. Easy as that! I also have the white for my baseboards. It dries quickly. Blends nicely. Bonds well to the wood. Can’t REALLY tell it’s filler unless it 1) a big knick or 2) you look really close.

These color matched wood fillers are a must have for me! Most wood fillers wills never stain to the same color of stain I’m using, and are pretty significantly lighter than the wood. It’s always noticeable after staining over. This lessens that gap almost entirely since the starting color in most cases can be almost identical. I sometimes will mix colors as well to achieve the closest match possible to whatever wood type I’m working with at the time! They’re just great, price is reasonable, and my only complaint is I wish they had even more color options available in them!

it filled the dings in my hardwood floor ok. applied a thin coat of poly over them, and they appear to stay in place. only miss, at least for me, is that the color shading is significantly lighter than what appears on the tube.

I tested this Minwax filler on multiple visible seams across my walnut-toned LVP flooring — and to my surprise, both the Walnut and Natural options blended extremely well. It's easy to use and looks great. It filled the cracks in between floor boards nicely. Perfect color. I let it dry for more than 24 hours and then my wife vacuumed the floor with her normal vacuum. All the putty was sucked up out of the cracks, undoing all the work I had done to fill the cracks. Very frustrating. I think the putty is crumbly after it dries. If you put polyurethane over top of it, it'd be fine. But I didn't.
