Sadly, I found about a dozen mouse droppings in the bag. I'm not sure if I will buy this brand again. **Q: How long does it take to cook?** A: They cook really fast. It just takes a few minutes. I was surprised at how fast they were ready. **Q: Is this hulless?** A: Rolled flat whole grain barley, ready to cook with added water to the tenderness desired. **Q: Will it sprout?** A: These are flakes-- I use as an alternative to oats.. barley is more chewy however in recipes! Doesn't sprout..... ## Frequently Bought Together - Yupik Organic Barley Flakes, 2.2 lb (35.2 oz), Non-GMO, Vegan, Kosher, Steamed, Rolled & Lightly Roasted Whole Barley Grains, Source of Fiber & Iron, Alternative to Oats, Ideal for Cooking & Baking - Yupik Organic Spelt Flakes, 2.2 lb (35.2 oz), Non-GMO, Kosher, Vegan, Made from Raw Whole Grains, Steamed, Rolled, & Lightly Roasted Flakes, Source of Fiber & Iron, Ideal for Cooking & Baking - Yupik Organic Kamut Flakes, 2.2 lb (35.2 oz), Non-GMO, Kosher, Vegan, Made from Raw Whole Grains, Steamed, Rolled, & Lightly Roasted Flakes, Source of Fiber & Iron, Ideal for Cooking & Baking --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/733212709-organic-barley-flakes-2-2-lb-35-2-oz-non](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/733212709-organic-barley-flakes-2-2-lb-35-2-oz-non) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
