A: The Interpupillary Distance (max): 72mm (2.83") and Interpupillary Distance (min): 56mm (2.20").

**Q: Are these good for long distance viewing such as over a body of water?**
A: 25X100 are intended for astronomy so, yeah, long distance viewing.

**Q: between the two eye sockets, there is a small dial with a 60 and 70 printed and a white dot on the outside of the dial.  What is this?**
A: This is for adjusting the distance between your eyes.  The center piece acts as a pivot point.  moving the eye sockets closer or further apart while looking though the binoculars you'll see an over lapping image until properly adjusted.  The dot will then act as a reference to quickly a line the eye sockets..

**Q: Is there a bracket included to attach a red dot finder on the binoculars?**
