Polar Gear Turquoise School Lunch Pod

Great buy for little one's pack lunches. Keeps warm or cool stuff ready for lunchtime. Just right size portion and my 6 year old can open no prob( was worried about that as its quite wide to grip to unscrew it) could do with some grips for little hands to open. Other than that its fab and cute.

I guess you get what you pay for, but this product is not really designed for serous use by a 9 year old who wants hot food in the canteen at lunch - 4 hours after it was cooked.Simply put, it does not keep food hot enough and the device feels really flimsy.Would be nice if Amazon had one that was around £15 with a metal (or similar) inner core that could keep piping food hot.This one is as good as others I have seen/used, but that's not saying much.

I bought two of these with the intention of giving my children a healthy soup for their packed lunch. After discovering these leaked (and when I read the packaging it did say these were not leak proof, so ok)I made sure both of my children carried these upright. By the time however it came to their lunch only 3 and a half hours later, their soup was stone cold even though the info leaflet said it would keep hot for 4-5 hours!! It wasn't even warm, which inevitabley ended up with two very upset and rather hungry children. I wasn't given long on the refund section, literally two days which fell into the weekend and I only discovered the lack of eficiancy on the Monday. Not a happy customer.

5 star rating easy to use wash and microwaveable. Brilliant product for the price.It does in the instructions to keep up right and I would keep it up right

For my type of use, it is more than adequate. I would not tecommend it to take hot lunches out , though, think they woul be lukewarm at best by lunchtime.
