Hier steht immer: "Was sollten die Kunden wissen". """HALLO - DAS IST COLD STEEL"""

I love this knife. It’s robust, sleek, sharp, and sturdy. The lock mechanism makes for a very slim design and a solid lock but with use retains its crisp locking making it stronger. Cold steel has the best test videos for their products. It’s such a good knife too because it’s budget friendly.

As solid as the former champ, the 3” Voyager (the final version with the super strong Tri-Ad lockback), but slightly thinner. Could use a more aggressively textured handle, though (I’m thinking Range Boss style stippling). There is a slight indentation that helps keep your fingers from riding forward onto the blade. The Clip Point is the most versatile of the edge shapes the Mini Recon offers, next is the Spear Point which is a little easier to sharpen. The model I purchased this time came with Tanto blade profile, which still has a “cool” factor going for it, but is a little tricky to sharpen at the secondary “point”. The Tanto shape was adapted from Japanese sword tip designs and is intended to be sturdier than the comparatively frail-looking Clip. Point tips; but. in reality steels have. come a long way since medieval times, and the risk of tip breakage is almost zero in actual utility work or “combat” scenarios unless you choose a fish filleting knife. I save prying for a screwdriver - also not a mini-prybar, but definitely more up to the task than most pocket knivrs (prying with a folder, or fixed blade, is considered an ultra-hazardous activity by some). I will admit the wider (spine to edge) design on this compared to narrower models from Cold Steel (like the Air Lite Tanto), does help make up for the short blade length. Somewhat make up for!
