Super impressed with the build quality of the laptop and speed. It looks very nice and performs just as well. This Snapdragon X (ARM) laptop is not an Intel or AMD machine and I was worried about software compatibility. I'm not a gamer so I use this for home and business productivity and have had no issues. The screen is fantastic. It's an OLED screen that's super bright. It's not a touch screen, but who likes to smudge up their screen. The keyboard is lighted. I was also worried if I could hook up another display because it's not a Thunderbolt display pc but I have a Dell dock and it charges, provides wired connectivity, and my two monitors work! I'm really impressed with this laptop. The battery life is great so far.

I have a feeling this is a great computer, BUT... the setup was problematic and HP seems to have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE that I could reach. I found one number online. When I called, it rang a few times and then simply dropped into nothing.Via Amazon, I did manage to speak with an attentive well-meaning woman in India who was very kind and attempted to assist me and do what she could.The lack of reachable customer service at Hewlett Packard ended this transaction with HP.If HP had reachable customer service, then I have a feeling that everything would have turned out much differently.A real shame and disappointment.

Straight to the point, I hope you like the format: Overall, my favorite new toy, great value for the money.Pro:- some reviews mentioned making sure you turn the computer off each night or it heats up. I've had this computer for over a month and I have not experienced this. every morning, i get my coffee and sit down and the machine is cool as a cucumber.- facial recognition. (remember to set it up from the position you will be using the computer. I.e. I set mind up standing up and leaning forward, not thinking this would have have any negative impact but it does; so set down and make sure the distance of your face to the computer is where you want it)- Light, can easily care it while open with fingers (vs full palm control)- easy set up. Follow the instructions and was able to synch everything and ready to use in less than 1 hour- Nice and bright- Backlight for typing at night- great for personal use and work but NOT for heavy gaming- link other personal devices like mobile phones to this computerCons:- only 1 USB type C drive (this is the rectangular shaped one). BOOOO- only 2 USB type A drive (this is the new charger small oval shaped one).- no other ports- does not have touch screen (I don't mind it but if that is a must, do not get this computer)- not for heavy gamersHope this helps

This laptop is a crazy good value. I got it on sale, and I am shocked at the quality of the laptop. The body is metal and a sturdy metal-looking plastic, and it feels like it is of high quality. Not quite Macbook quality, but still up there. There is very little flex in the screen. And get this, it has a beautiful OLED display which is usually found in more expensive laptops. The resolution is average for the segment, but it's only a 14 inch laptop. It's quick, the sound and mic are very adequate, and the camera is too. The touchpad is not haptic, and it has a touch of rattle in it (my only complaint). It's a minor issue. I know it's a Snapdragon, and most will stick their nose up at that. I'm probably never buying an Intel/AMD laptop again. It's quick and the battery life is about 4 times that of my Dell XPS 13. Runs cool unless you really push it. It easily connected to my printer, scanner, USB-C docking station, and external camera. It is reasonable to check to make sure you don't have any anticipated incompatibilities before you buy, but it you don't then it's great. Absolute steal!!!!

I've had it for roughly a year now, and I cannot lie this thing gets dirty quick; my hands are clean I swear. I think because the keyboard keys are black, it looks dirtier than usual, but that's just a theory anyways. In terms of functionality, the lighting is good for what you get and the keys themselves light when you need them to. Software-wise, some programs do not work properly since it is an ARM device, but holistically everything functions the same. I do not worry about the storage much since I do not have a lot of things. If you need something that works, and performance is decent, I would recommend it. I will admit though, I'm not sure how much it is now compared to before RAMageddon happened, just know it's been working as of late.

I love my computer...it's light weight.. beautiful colors on the screen...it's fast..I'm we enjoying this laptop

HP, you are dead to me.This is the last one of your products I will put money on.I fought the windows distribution on this thing for a month trying to run it with a local account since that's how I need to operate and it just would not go. I recognize that Microsoft and HP are making a lot of extra revenue by spying on me and selling my data to whoever wants it but there is usually a way to opt out or at least make it more difficult. Not so on this device.Fast forward a few more days and I've decided to install a better OS and that keeps failing for reasons I am not able to comprehend. As I'm trying to get to the bottom of that, I realize that I am having so much trouble because I am researching and implementing changes based on the item in the description *not the item that was delivered* and that I actually have no idea what I'm working with. Now that I'm past the return window, nobody will answer my messages and I've basically bricked the thing due to working on what I bought, not what I got, I can't say anything positive about what HP has become and even less so HP's customer service and care.I'm done with you.

I'm loving my new laptop! 🚀 Speed is insane - boots up in seconds and multitasking is a breeze. The compact size is perfect for on-the-go, fits easily in my bag. Battery life is solid too. Only thing I'd change is adding a touch screen, would make it even more awesome! 😊
