This unique finish is even safe for cutting boards, toys and children's furniture. It complies with FDA regulations (FDA 21 sec. 175,300) as "safe for food contact surfaces". We have tried this in our shop and are very impressed by both the ease of use and the quality of the workmanship. Danish oil is pure, moderately polymerized linseed oil. This penetrating oil produces a beautiful satin sheen. Use for kitchenware, cabinets or indoor woodwork for a simple and economical finish.
