Topexplore 9" Carplay Screen for Car, Upgrade Portable Touchscreen

I have to admit that this product exceeded my expectations. When I first considered purchasing it, I was hesitant because it was not specifically designed for my vehicle's factory system. I had concerns about compatibility, connectivity, and whether it would look out of place in my car. After using it, however, I can confidently say it has been one of the best automotive upgrades I've made and is absolutely worth the investment. I drive a 2017 vehicle equipped with a 360-degree camera system. After researching CarPlay upgrades in the past, I repeatedly came across information suggesting that adding CarPlay would either require disabling my factory cameras or paying for a costly custom installation. As a result, I had resigned myself to living without CarPlay. While I love virtually everything else about my vehicle, the lack of modern smartphone integration was a constant frustration, especially when using navigation, messaging, and music apps. After driving several rental cars equipped with Apple CarPlay, I quickly realized how much I had been missing. Determined to find a solution, I began researching again and was pleasantly surprised to discover portable CarPlay displays. These products either didn't exist or weren't widely available when I originally explored my options a few years ago. When Black Friday arrived, I finally decided to take the plunge. I initially considered several 7-inch models, but they seemed a bit undersized for my midsize vehicle. This display turned out to be the perfect fit, offering a screen large enough to be easily visible without overwhelming the dashboard. Installation was remarkably straightforward. The entire setup process took approximately 15 minutes, with most of that time spent deciding on the ideal mounting location. Pairing the display with my phone took only a few minutes, and now it automatically connects within seconds every time I start the car. Finding the right placement was the most challenging part, but once installed, it looked surprisingly integrated. I was able to position it so it doesn't obstruct the air vents or my view of the road, and it resembles a factory-installed pop-up display. With a little effort, I also managed to conceal most of the wiring, resulting in a clean and professional appearance. The device's built-in speaker is perfectly adequate, but I quickly discovered an even better setup. I can remain connected to the CarPlay display while simultaneously using my vehicle's Bluetooth system for audio output. This allows all sound to play through my car's speakers while I control everything through the touchscreen interface. I initially tested the AUX connection, which worked reasonably well, but the Bluetooth configuration has proven to be far more convenient and seamless. Performance has been outstanding. The interface responds quickly, wireless connectivity has been reliable, and I have experienced absolutely no noticeable lag. The screen operates smoothly and consistently, making daily driving much more enjoyable. Overall, this has been a fantastic upgrade that completely solves the one feature my vehicle was missing. The combination of easy installation, excellent performance, ideal screen size, and affordable price makes it an exceptional value. If you're driving an older vehicle and want the convenience of CarPlay without replacing your factory system, this portable display is an excellent solution. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and it has genuinely transformed my driving experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by this 9-inch Smart Screen CarPlay (Model RC07). The screen is bright and responsive, and the setup was quick and easy. Apple CarPlay connected without any issues, making it simple to use navigation, music, and hands-free calling while driving. The display is a great size, sound quality is nice and loud and everything is easy to see and operate. For the price, this unit offers excellent value and performs just as I hoped. If you're looking to add CarPlay to a vehicle without replacing the factory stereo, I would definitely recommend this product.

Absolutely impressed with this screen. Great size, the picture is clear, and everything is simple to navigate. Wireless CarPlay connects quickly and makes using maps, music, calls, and messages so much easier while driving. I also really like having multiple options for connecting the audio to the vehicle. Installation was straightforward, the mount feels secure, and I didn’t have to replace or modify my factory stereo. It’s an inexpensive way to give an older vehicle many of the features you’d expect in a much newer one. Clean setup, easy to use, and works exactly the way I hoped it would.

The only good things about this are that the screen turns on and the bluetooth works. Here are the problems: 1) If you wear polarized sunglasses, you have to turn your head sideways to see the screen because the screen just blacks out if you look at it normally. This was a major safety hazard for me when I was driving on unfamiliar roads. 2) I found no way to turn off the speakers on the device, even when they were hooked up to my car via the audio jack. This meant that, to turn down the volume, I had to turn down both my car and the device volume, which is also unsafe because then I'm navigating touchscreen menus while driving AND the audio quality from the tablet was extremely poor. 3) Half the time the software didn't work with Android Auto properly. It would show the map but none of the extra buttons sometimes, and other times it would show everything I needed to see. If I just use my phone, everything I need shows up properly. I strongly recommend looking at other options that actually improve safety and have settings that make sense.

This thing is exactly what I was looking for. It is a super easy way to turn an old car into an Android auto display or Apple carplay. I tested it out in a cF Moto you force 1,000 uTV, a 2024 Ram pick up, and a 2003 Toyota Camry. The purpose of the purchase was for the Camry cuz it has the original stereo, no aux cord and no Bluetooth. I hope this up by plugging it into the cigarette later and connected it through the FM channel and it was playing the music from my phone. The display is nice and big and perfect for GPS. I played music through the FM radio with no issue whatsoever. And then tested it in the pickup truck which has a regular screen already and wireless auto play. So I had it connect Android auto to this screen and then Bluetooth my music to my truck and it played through my truck speakers and connected with no issue whatsoever. I actually liked having a screen a little bit closer to my steering wheel, and my truck has the biggest screen available the last test was to put it into my CF Moto put it to the test in the trails. What a great idea, I now have access to my messages my music and my trail map in my UTV. As you can see in the video it connects every single time I have had no issues of it disconnecting whatsoever. When it's in the UTV sound plays through my portable Bluetooth speaker that I have connected inside it. Connects and plays music immediately , but no issue. This really is Plug and Play. If you know how to connect Bluetooth through your phone then you will be able to connect this, just plug in the cigarette lighter which Powers it up connected to your phone and there's your Android auto or your Apple carplay. As you can see in one of the pictures I also tested the screen mirror with my Samsung zfold 7. That works flawlessly as well . In the picture you can see I was watching soccer game . The sound was coming through my Bluetooth speaker . So happy I got this and the price is perfect someone who wants very simple connection they're older vehicle or with a broken radio . So far after 2 weeks of using it , I have had no issues . It has seen a lot of time in the woods but I'll sit around and then the Heat . Looks like a keeper

Not the best fit anywhere in my 2018 Hylander. The adhesive isn’t very sticky. Followed directions and still had a lot of trouble. Screen is a bit delayed. However, it works fine. Screen has built in speakers which is odd because I have the unit plugged via aux cord, but it here still seems have sound funneled out of screen. Speakers on calls are clear. For what it is, it’s great. Beware, it’s a bit larger than anticipated so make sure you have ample space.

I’m not somebody who fully understands how to put together technology such as this, but as soon as I got someone to help me assemble it and get it started it was a lot easier. The screen itself is fairly easy to understand and turns on automatically when I start my car. You’re able to choose between a stand to set the screen on or a windshield holder for how you choose to display the screen. It had a nice appearance, although I do wish that it had less loose chords. Easy to pair my phone to and had easy to see directions. Mine tends to be a little slow for the screen to respond to touch, but overall a good product that I would reccomend to a friend.

I’ve been really happy with it so far. It was easy to set up, connected to my phone right away, and CarPlay works great. The screen looks good and responds quickly. It’s a simple and affordable way to add CarPlay without having to replace your whole stereo. Definitely worth it for the price.
