Happily surprised by it being perfectly intact and how well-packed it was

I love figs and Greek figs are the best. Our local grocer is no longer keeping me supplied in Divina spreads and jams, so I thought I would purchase the most cost-effective for a family that goes through an 8 oz. jar every 4 weeks or more often. With the numerous reviews about broken containers and oozing fig spread in packaging, I considered there was a high risk for utilizing Prime’s refund policy. However, the box arrived well within the delivery window and the bucket is completely sealed as shown in my photos. I wish I had taken pictures of the careful packaging. It was in a sealed plastic shipping envelope, which was completely wrapped in a sheet of flexible foam that was sealed with packaging tape and then placed in a box padded with brown paper. Some people might find the packaging excessive, but reading the reviews, it is necessary. The plastic bag envelope can be reused or recycled, the foam can be reused easily and a few places recycle it, and the paper and box are great for crafts, upcyclable, reusable, and recyclable. My rating is based on assuming this Divina fig jam tastes like the 8 oz. jars and will update this review if it does not. I have read other reviews that it tastes like a fig Newton (Mission figs), Turkish figs, or Dalmatia fig spread - while, I enjoy each of these types of figs Mission, Turkish brown, and Croatian “Dalmatia” green; the best figs I have ever eaten in my life are the white figs of Greece and Divina is the best commercially available brand spread to capture that flavor. I read that people add it to their charcuterie boards, top cheese, and spread on toast and biscuits. These are uses at our home, but our favorites are topping grilled halloumi; making a fig balsamic dressing to top fruit, arugula, mixed greens, feta, and walnuts; topping with tahini for Greek rusks or sourdough toast; topping full fat Greek yogurt with walnuts or almonds; little tarts of puff pastry or phyllo in a muffin tin with Brie and fig; on croque Monsieur or grilled ham and cheese; with prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato, and balsamic; mixed with balsamic, coarse mustard, rosemary, thyme to glaze chicken, poultry, ham, pork; with bourbon, lemon juice, and thyme (top with ginger beer or make a hot toddy with ginger tea and honey.) Now, I hope you don’t buy up all the fig spread there isn’t any left for our house.

    Very tasty and economical

This is delicious fig spread. A little bit sweet, but really great. I will make cookies with it also. I want to say, it was packaged with thought, and it's obvious they tried to make it leak proof. There was still some minimal leaking. The seal was not broken, so I have no issue. Give it a try? You won't be sorry.

$3/kg in Europe - Best / Healthiest solution to constipation.

This is worth $5 in Greece or the Balkans as of yesterday (March 2018). Still the best price for USA but they have added a ton of sugar as expected. Why??? this is naturally sweet why add more? Couldn't you make the container 1 inch bigger so there wouldn't be a leak?BTW you can eat the junkiest food on earth, have a tablespoon of this a day and you'll always have a great bathroom experience.
