Lighter than advertised.
The advertised weight of the helmet is 16 oz. which is relatively heavy which concerned me. The good news is that it actually weighs 12.5 oz. This makes a big difference on those long rides. I almost didn't purchase it for this reason. The venting is plenty adequate, the fit is very comfortable and easily adjustable. This is the 3rd Giro helmet I have had and never disappointed. BTW.....my last helmet has two cracks in it and saved me a concussion or worse! Thank you Giro!

Solid Road Helmet
Fits well and has great airflow. It does what it’s supposed to do.

Great Fit plus MIPS is a WIN
This helmet fits great and the MIPS technology is a great safety feature. I find it very comfortable. I ride a catrike recumbent 15+miles 3 times a week. I have added the giro roc loc 5 lite to it also.

Very comfortable and secure fit. I have a large head that can be a squeeze in most baseball caps. Size large fits nicely.

Very nice helmet. Straps are so-so.
Awesome helmet, only thing I don't like are the straps. They're a hard scratchy ribbon and just don't feel right no matter what I do.

Looks good and fits amazing... something weird about how it configures, causes sweat to build up in the forehead area and then release like a stream... never had this issue with other helmets.

High-quality helmet with solid construction and excellent design. The finish, colors, and gradient are visually appealing, but what stands out most is its protective performance. I’ve been using it consistently for several months, and it remains comfortable and reliable. Recently, I experienced a fall on the road where I took a direct impact to the head while wearing the helmet. The helmet absorbed the impact effectively, and fortunately, there were no serious consequences. This real-world experience gives me strong confidence in its safety and impact protection capabilities. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for reliable head protection during cycling

What you’d expect from Giro
Solid helmet, predictable Giro sizing. I wish the Boa dial was a tad larger, make it more easy to find while riding. But this lid won’t disappoint.
