The motor box containing the fan’s impeller and blades can be detached from the mounted frame for easy cleaning and maintenance. Review: Well worth it - I've owned this for 4 years now and probably only used it for 2 of those years. I bought it alongside an T8 and they both worked in tandem to extract hot air from the top and side of a grow tent that basically housed 2 crypto mining machines. These worked perfectly and would turn on or ramp up when the temperature in the tent got too high thanks to the sensor. I could also control it remotely from work in the city. They have been sitting around for a good 2 years and I was planning to sell them this summer to make some cash because it seems like they hold their value. Mine are pretty much pristine still. However, with this heat wave, I have been using this S8 to help extract the warm, humid air out the window from my workshop garage when I go in there. And tonight, as I write this review, I am using the T8 to suck in cold air from outside in to my very hot computer room on this hot summers night. I'm basically writing to say that these are currently the best fans in my household at the moment. They are both basically making the environment habitable. If I had set these up probably with the ducting tubes, I would be in paradise. Great products.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: We purchased the fan it is only 2 months old.  Why does it turn off constantly even as the light remains on?**
A: Might be defective or you have it on the wrong settings. Try unplugging it and if it continues to to the same then it might be defective

**Q: Can this fan be used as an inline blower for ventilating a blowerless kitchen range hood? i.e. is it rated for exhausting steam and grease?**
A: I would have to say no for grease but yes it will work to vent steam even though it is not rated for this I have used them in my bathroom for over a year now and have not had any issue.

**Q: What happens if power goes out? Does it kick back on to same speed settings? How long would it hold thise settings with power out?**
A: If power is removed the fan will restart at same speed as operating before powered off. As far as how long will it retain speed setting, not sure but at least three weeks.

**Q: Would this be used in a cigar room in conjunction with a air purifier? Looking to build a cigar lounge in my house.**
A: i think so - i used it to improve air circulation in a 3 story house. i think it would work well for your purpose. it is quiet and has adjustable flow rate.

I've owned this for 4 years now and probably only used it for 2 of those years. I bought it alongside an T8 and they both worked in tandem to extract hot air from the top and side of a grow tent that basically housed 2 crypto mining machines. I ordered this unit to be able to recirculate the air within a room through a furnace type filter. I was positively impressed with the quality of this product. It looks nicely finished, simple and elegant. The wiring and the connections are of high quality and workmanship. It has a smooth acceleration, is vibration free, and quite. The speed controller and the temperature/humidity are nicely implemented, easily programable and very versatile. The temperature/humidity sensor is also well designed and easy attachable to any surface. The ability to add a second fan to the same controller is another nice feature. I am very satisfied with this product.
