I got these for some old smith and Wesson 22lr revolvers. They are good for a few hits each and then are worn out. They do what they are supposed to and protect the cylinders from hammer strikes once you stroke it once you then need to turn to an unstruck portion.

Arrived as advertised. Product is plastic, so limited life expected.

I bought these hoping to prolong the firing pin life on 3 handguns. Fits all three but only cycles (mag to chamber to eject) on 2.... but that’s ok - I can still manually chamber the “load” for pin strikes which are required for strip down. I only need 6 at a time (1 in the mag and one in the chamber) when storing so the bonus of having 24 in the lot will last a lifetime.

These work perfectly for dry-firing and function checks in my 10/22, Marlin 60, and 22LR revolver. I highly recommend them. You get plenty of them for the price and you can easily check the backs of them to monitor how beat up they are getting; hammer strikes are easy to see on the orange. One 24 pack will last me a long time. Great value, great product, and peace of mind for those interested in training on and maintaining their 22LR firearms.
