It makes my daily cleaning so much easier, so happy
I have been using this robot vacuum for a while now, and honestly, it has become one of those things I didn't realize I needed until I had it. It has made keeping my home clean feel so much more effortless and less stressful. What I personally love most is how much time it gives me back. Between work, errands, and just life in general, I don't always have the energy to vacuum and mop everyday. With this robot, I just set it and let it do its thing. It moves around my home really smoothly and does not constantly bump into things or get stuck like other robot vacuums I have tried in the past. I can actually trust it to clean different rooms without me checking on it every few minutes. The suction is strong enough that I notice a real difference, crumbs, dust, and pet hair are gone in one run most of the time. My floors just feel cleaner overall, especially in the kitchen and living areas where I am always walking back and forth. Another thing I like is the mopping feature. The fact that it washes and dries its own mop pads in the base station is very good. I don't have to deal with dirty pads or any messy cleanup afterward, which makes me actually want to use the mopping function more often. When it runs, it's so quiet, and I think it really worth the money. Yeah, it saves me a lot of time for cleaning my house daily. Very appreciate this new robot vacuum and mop.

Best one so far
It has been several weeks and I can now say that it is the most capable robot I have owned. The suction is great and it picks up my pet hair and even cat litter with ease while still staying quiet which is awesome since I do home office. I read this had a new system but I dont have the specifics but I no longer have to deal with tangled hair wrapped around the rollers. It navigates my home without any problem, it climbs over thresholds taht used to stop my previous robot and it cleans under my low furniture without damaging it. The set up was pretty simple like any other so not much to talk about this, but the station is great, is not super loud which I appreciate and has a good suction.

After Six Months, I Can't Recommend the Dreame X50 Ultra
I purchased the Dreame X50 Ultra on January 1, 2026, with high hopes. After reading reviews and seeing all the advertised features, I expected it to be a premium robot vacuum. Unfortunately, after months of use, I've been very disappointed. To give some context, we have a yellow Labrador that sheds heavily. I have the vacuum scheduled to clean every day and set it to empty the dustbin frequently. Even with those settings, the internal dustbin regularly becomes packed with hair instead of emptying properly. You have to watch it closely or it will continue cleaning with a clogged dustbin. Another frustrating issue is the dock's dust bags. They don't seal properly, so every time the vacuum empties itself, dust and debris end up inside the dock. I even ordered genuine replacement bags directly from Dreame hoping it was just a bad batch, but the replacements have the exact same problem. The mop pads also have trouble reconnecting, and the robot frequently struggles to dock. I've cleaned the sensors, reset the system, and even moved the dock exactly as Dreame support recommended, with plenty of open space around it. Despite all of that, I still have to manually place it on the dock several times every week. Obstacle detection is another major disappointment. It regularly runs over flip-flops and drags them around the house. It also tries to vacuum up charging cords, gets tangled, and ends up stuck. One particularly annoying flaw is what happens if the room containing the dock is closed. Instead of finding another solution or notifying you sooner, the robot simply waits outside the closed door until the battery dies. If the door opens inward toward the robot, it can be difficult to even open the door because the dead vacuum is blocking it. Battery life is also underwhelming. It spends a surprising amount of time charging before it can resume cleaning. What frustrates me most is that many of these issues have been reported by other owners for quite some time, yet they still haven't been addressed through firmware updates or design improvements. The only thing this vacuum consistently does well is vacuum the floors themselves. Everything else—from self-emptying to docking and obstacle avoidance—has been unreliable. If I could return it, I absolutely would. I also own a Roborock Qrevo S Pro downstairs, and it has been virtually flawless. After living with both products for several months, I would choose the Roborock again without hesitation.

Great Cleaning Performance and Easy to Use
The Vacuum Robert has been a great addition to my home. It does an excellent job picking up dust, dirt, and pet hair, and the mopping feature helps keep my hard floors looking clean without much effort on my part. I was impressed with how well it maps the house and avoids obstacles. It cleans methodically and reaches areas that my previous robot vacuum often missed. The self-emptying dock and automatic mop cleaning are huge time savers and make maintenance much easier. It’s a high-quality robot vacuum and mop with plenty of useful features. It makes everyday cleaning much more convenient and keeps my floors looking great.

Excellent robot vacuum and mop
This robot has been a great addition to my home. The suction power is impressive and it does a great job picking up dust, pet hair, and everyday debris. The navigation is very accurate, and it moves around furniture and obstacles without getting stuck. I also like how little maintenance it requires. The dock takes care of most of the work, and the mopping feature leaves the floors looking noticeably cleaner. It runs quietly and cleans efficiently without missing many spots. Very satisfied with the performance and convenience. Definitely worth the investment.

Great Value at 50% off. Great Carpet performance, mopping works far better than I had Hoped for.
This is a great vacuum and at a great discount right now (50%). Suction power and effectiveness on carpets is remarkably good, and the brushes stay clean, and do a good job of agitating the carpet - so if vacuuming carpets is import to you - this is a GREAT unit. The spinning side brush design is far better than most others and actually performs its intended function much better than other robot vacs I have owned. The filter and dust bags are ample for the task they perform. Mopping for me was secondary but still important. The mopping finesse of this unit exceeds my expectations, and the self attaching/detaching mops work flawlessly. I have not had a good mopping solution for some time, and manual mopping always seems to wait until the floors are deplorable. Not any more! Both bathrooms, the hallway and kitchen are kept in just about perfect shape with once a week scheduled mopping, and the occasion 'oopsie' manual run of the mopping routines. Its mop self washing routines do a GREAT job, and they are left dry and safe to let sit without worry of mold or stinkyness. It's mapping routines are truly amazing, and faster than any other robovac I have ever seen. Truly less than 10 minutes, maybe even only 5 minutes, and the entire house was mapped extremely well. It even recognized certain room and labeled them correctly (Bedroom, living room, always, kitchen, bathrooms). It decided the office is 'Living room 2' and I haven't quite figured out how to change that label. If I have to live with that, its ok, my Grandfather always called the garage 'the barn', so I guess everything has its quirks. LOL. The rising and lowering scanner on the top is interesting, but I haven't quite figured out how to leverage that so it can get under the bed support frame legs, but it still does an effective job under the bed. The 'climbing legs' feature wasn't something I expected to use as the home is pretty flat, but it still uses them to get over transition from tile to carpet since mine are apparently higher than the robot prefers. When it puts those legs up, It kind of looks like its getting ready to do a track and field event, but it gets the job done. When I first got it, I was afraid I might have to return it because it would enter its charging base, but would not charge (yes, the firmware was updated to the most current), but it turned out that after I let it finish a vacuuming cycle the first time it returned to the base and viola, began a charging cycle. No issues since then. I do wish it was a bit more willing to extend he mops and side brush - sometimes it doesn't when doing so would help a lot, but I understand there may be settings I can explore that will fine tune this, and always the chance for firmware updates that could help. Like most robot vacs, the edge vacuuming performance is not that great because the carpet brushes don't extend to the edge of the unit. The very effective extendable side brush helps, but this will be an occasional manual vacuuming need to handle the edges. The application is a bit sluggish to the touch, but works reliably once you get used to its cadence of touch-response. The product features are many, and may not have the very best arrangement in the app to make it clear when and how to use them all. There is a way to 'pin' custom cleaning routines to the app, but I haven't been able to figure out how to use that feature yet. I hope they will make improvement in this over time. Durability with a device that has so many mechanical features is a question mark, but it bears a 5 year warranty. So assuming I don't have to pay shipping to China and deal with customs paperwork, I'm not that worried about it right now. Purchased this at 50% off, and feel as if it was a good deal, meeting all the priorities I had for both vacuuming and mopping. I'm happy with this purchase, and with not having to regularly manually mop any more!

An Expensive but Full-Fledged & Effective Floor Cleaner
The choice was between this and well-regarded RoboRock. They are effectively the same, though RoboRock uses a slightly more sophisticated navigation system, the benefits of which are marginal. The threshold-climbing of the X50, if you need it, is unbeatable. I see that robot arms will be the next big thing, but color me skeptical on those. The vacuuming and mopping are what I am looking for, now that navigation issues are largely solved for higher end models of top brands. The comparison I have is an iRobot J7+, which vacuums and empties into a home station, but which does not mop. That device delivered, and continues to; but I wanted a mopping robot for my hardwood and stone floors. The iRobot J7+ will move to another floor for duty. Speaking of floors, the X50 will handle multiple floors in its mapping system. Which brings up the Ultra X50 smartphone app. IMO, it is a bit of a hot mess on usability and organization. Once you figure it out, it works fine. But golly is it confusingly put together. And the Chinglish doesn’t help, either. They couldn’t afford a translator for their flagship product? I belatedly discovered that, while you can use custom names in the map, the voice control does not recognize them (unlike the iRobot, which does). So then you have to go spelunking in the app to figure out where it is that you change room names — it’s not obvious. The Lidar device which lowers into the unit is useful, but I’ve found that it does not recognize a dark brown leather chair for some reason, even though the room is very well lit. I tried putting a zone under the chair to force it to go there to vacuum and mop, with limited success. Placing artifacts on the map is limited. It does a very good job, thanks to Lidar, of mapping your rooms. And it even discerns some furniture like beds, nightstands, couches, and dining tables, and automatically puts them on the map. The X50 automatic recognition and naming of room was 90%+ accurate, which was surprising. After mapping the house, I did a standard cleaning, ensuring that the floors were clear of obstacles. I did this to give the device a baseline. Then, after a couple of runs, I switched to the “Genius” mode, and that has been successful. As to “genius”? First Apple’s “Genius Bar” and now Dreame. Don’t these guys ever learn? Cuz it is not “genius.” It’s adequate. Battery life is meh. I have not been achieving the length of operation suggested, even on the most basic, non-genius runs. But this is not an issue for me, as it is fine if the unit returns to charge and then continues. YMMV. The floors do get nicely scrubbed. I am a believer in the rotating pads vs the vibrating pads. A simple pad, vibrating or not, may work well on meticulously even floors; less so if natural stone is uneven, or other artifacts of your floors. And the cleaning of rotating pads is mechanically an easier thing to do well. The pad cleaning is effective, as well as the drying. Cleaning just takes a minute, and is audible, but not what I would call “loud.” Just a little slurpy, and it’s done. The drying, though? 3 hours. Which, again, is not a particular inconvenience, for the pads only dry after it is completely done. Unlike iRobot, the app has no geo-location function. So you cannot direct it to start cleaning when you leave, or on particular days when you leave. This is a pretty big app oversight, IMO, and should be fixed. That being said, the Ultra X50 produces ~60dB of noise when vacuum-mopping, which is roughly low-conversation levels. And when mopping and not vacuuming? Pretty much silent. And the floors dry very quickly, within just 1-2 minutes with the app’s water setting at around medium. The extendable mop pad and side brush extend as expected, and do work more effectively in corners than any robot vacuum I’ve had before. Because the pads are round, there’s a limit to getting all the way in a corner, but better than nothing. The edge work is very good, hugging baseboards. I did notice one or two times that it was further away from the baseboard than it should have been, but this does not seem to be consistent nor a big issue. Which brings us back to navigation and efficacy. While I have not watched it work the entire job, if the reports from the app are accurate (and I believe they are), the Ultra X50 thoroughly covers every room. Being able to designate the direction of the wood flooring was nice; the unit will go perpendicular to the flooring direction on a secondary or intensive mopping/vacuuming. Should you get this? I think, with all these robot floor devices, you should if having small detritus accumulate on the regular is a pain to manage. This will take care of virtually all of it. Pet hair? Yes, it will work for that too. The side brush is susceptible to hair tangles (unlike the Roborock’s currently superior design for the side brush), but the double rollers for the main intake should handle all kinds of hair, human or pet, without issue. The design of the main rollers on the Ultra X50 seems to have solved that problem, altogether. Now they just need to go steal the RoboRock design for the side brush. Small carpets, like for a bath or an entry, are not well handled by the Ultra X50; no robot vacuum I’ve owned ever has. It’s a shame that the Ultra X50 does not use its extends-legs to get on to a small carpet, but it instead ends up bunching one end, which creates a “wall” from the unit’s perspective. Larger carpets, though, or installed carpeting, likely will be no problem. The ability for the Ultra X50 to leave the wet pads at the base station before vacuuming a carpet is an ideal solution, for the 10.5 mm raising of them when they are still installed will likely get your carpet a bit damp on the surface. Not awful, but why not just leave the pads off altogether if you have the option? Is this thing worth the price I paid, around $1550, including tax? For me, yes. But that is a steep price. It seems to be very well built, and most of the things that I think could be better can be handled entirely by software updates. My ideal robot floor cleaner is one I do not have to think about much. I have yet to see if it will remind me to change the dust bag, or alert that more water is needed. I have been emptying the dirty water tank after every use, which has been very easy. Personally, I like the design of the Ultra X50 base much, much more than the RoboRock look. Silly, mebbe, but I think the RoboRock looks, and perhaps is, less expensively made. RoboRock’s base, to me, looks cheap, and if you examine things like the hinges on the top access closely, you’ll see that Dreame took more care in manufacture and design than did their most direct competitor. The replacement cleaning fluid, pads, filters, etc. from Dreame are a bit expensive. But then, if I were worried about that, I wouldn’t have bought a $1500 vacuum mop, now would I?

Smart Mapping and Strong Suction Work Well for Hardwood Floors
I got the Dreame X50 Ultra set up in my house with hardwood floors and a few rugs, plus a dog that brings in dirt and hair. Placing the base and connecting everything through the app was straightforward — it paired to WiFi without issues and the first mapping run took around 40 minutes while I watched. The map came out accurate enough that I could divide the rooms and add a couple no-go zones around the pet bowls pretty quickly. The navigation feels smart; it plans actual paths instead of just bouncing around, and the obstacle avoidance has kept it from getting stuck on cords or furniture legs so far. I run it most mornings, and it does a good job with the pet hair on the rugs and gets right into the corners and edges without leaving strips of dust. The mop also leaves the kitchen floor clean without streaks. The auto-empty and mop self-cleaning features keep maintenance low, and I can check cleaning history or adjust schedules right from the app. That said, the base station is pretty bulky and I had to find a spot for it that didn’t block the walkway. It also doesn’t lift the mop high enough on thicker rugs, so those still need a regular vacuum every week or so. At this price it’s a big investment, and it probably won’t make as much sense if you have mostly carpet since the mopping won’t get used much. But with mostly hard floors, some rugs, and a busy schedule, the smart mapping and reliable daily runs have noticeably reduced how much time I spend thinking about sweeping and mopping.

Powerful and Convenient Robot Vacuum and Mop
This robot vacuum has been a great upgrade for my home. The suction is very strong and easily picks up dust, crumbs, and pet hair. The mopping function works well and keeps the floors looking clean without much effort. I really like the auto‑empty and self‑cleaning features—they make maintenance simple and save a lot of time. Navigation is smooth, and it avoids obstacles well. It can go under furniture and over small thresholds without getting stuck. The app is easy to use and offers many cleaning options, so it’s simple to customize how it cleans each room.
