this is a nice little kit. I was pleasantly surprised. I was plumbing a whole camper filter system into a camper. Most of it was half inch pex which I have the tools for, however, for the freshwater Spicket at the kitchen sink and the refrigerator they dropped it down to quarter inch I was never really comfortable with these push lock type fittings, but they really do work and I have not had a leak granted at maximum. We probably run 60 pounds of pressure in the camper, but it was a piece of cake to install these. One thing I did like if you make a mistake and you want to get the fitting off, there's a release mechanism built into it and the tube comes right out. You can't do that with.pex

You can't beat the price on these. They work well. Although I did learn that you can't use the blue retaining clips on them. I had water spraying everywhere until I removed the clips. At that point I had to say outloud, "Thats why they didn't include them!?!"

These are super easy to connect/ disconnect, infinitely better than the barb type fittings. Also another advantage is that these don’t restrict the water flow nearly as much as the barb type. This is really important if are making an irrigation system that is about 30 feet of tubing, because the water flow will be much better. All you have to do to understand this is look at the diameter of these fittings versus the barbed fitting. These have a much larger diameter and the water flows through that much better.

These connectors are very well built and I appreciate the inclusion of the "locks" that prevent accidental disconnects. I'm using these in a self-feeding, RDWC hydro setup that is automatically topped up from my RODI filter. So a disconnect would be really bad and a huge mess. My only complaint is about how they are packaged. They come in a bag that is exceptional fragile and half of the contents has escaped in transport. Everything was in there, but I could have easily been short some or all of the parts because of the bag.

Perfect to fixing leaks and broken ice maker tubs for you refrigerator. Easy and fast, fits both pvc & copper. Just push it on, Fixed!!! Really lile the shut off valve. Smart to put it on during the fix!!
