Its gearless drive and quick-change modular cutter ensure smooth, maintenance-free operation. Built with durable stainless steel and nickel-plated aluminum, it fits all can sizes up to #10 and offers flexible mounting options, making it a reliable, hygienic, and efficient tool for any professional kitchen. ## Description Nemco’s unique mechanical design thinks outside the can! Instead of cutting down vertically into the lid, the CanPRO Compact cuts horizontally into the rim for improved food safety, as well as operator safety. Cutting from the outside, the blade assembly crimps as it cuts, eliminating the sharp edge that can slice a hand or damage a spatula. Plus, it leaves no metal slivers that can fall into the food contents. Running the circumference of a #10-sized can just takes a few quick and easy turns of the crank. It’s adjustable to all can sizes and features a permanent mount with an optional temporary clamp, allowing you to move the opener around the kitchen. Security model option offers a locking capability. CanPRO Can Opener, compact, permanent, cuts from the side, along the lid's outer seam, gearless drive, holds up to #10 cans, stainless steel & aluminum nickel-plated construction, NSF Review: Built like a tank... - Excellent product, just what I needed in my pizza shop. Very well made, built to last. Review: Replacement blades are expensive - Does a great job of opening cans with no sharp edges and no metal shavings. But the replacement blades are very expensive! ## Features - The cutter's new design won’t penetrate past the first layer of metal on the lid’s seam, alleviating the potential for producing metal slivers if the user overrotates the can. - When the cutter runs its life cycle, it won’t cut at all, clearly indicating it should be replaced. - The cutter housing is a quick-change module—switch out a used for a new with just a pull of a pin. Keep an extra new modular cutter on hand, and you’re never down. - Stainless steel and aluminum nickel-plated components translate into a long, virtually maintenance-free life. - CanPRO leaves the circumference and lip of the lid intact, so the lid doesn’t fall into the can. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002X3J0OY | | Best Sellers Rank | #253,101 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #768 in Manual Can Openers | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Brand | Nemco | | Brand Name | Nemco | | Color | Multicolor | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 6 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00674651101043 | | Included Components | Can Opener, Table Mount | | Item Dimensions W x H | 19"W x 19"H | | Item Type Name | Can Opener, Table Mount | | Item Weight | 4 pounds | | Manufacturer | food service warehouse | | Manufacturer Part Number | 56050-1 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Nemco assumes no liability for parts or labor coverage for component failure or other damages resulting from installation in non-commercial or residential applications. | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | 56050-1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Product Dimensions | 19"W x 19"H | | Size | 19" | | UPC | 674651101043 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Nemco - **Color:** Multicolor - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Size:** 19" ## Images ![Nemco - 56050-1 - CanPro® Compact Manual Can Opener, 19", Multicolor - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51oH-J-3yGL.jpg) ![Nemco - 56050-1 - CanPro® Compact Manual Can Opener, 19", Multicolor - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61DW9yiGShL.jpg) ![Nemco - 56050-1 - CanPro® Compact Manual Can Opener, 19", Multicolor - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/612y5KsoWCL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Built like a tank... *by A***R on June 4, 2026* Excellent product, just what I needed in my pizza shop.
