The ES-50 is single-sided, but it does have an automatic feeding function that allows you to scan one side, flip the page over and scan the reverse without having to click the Scan button again. The ES-50 model is only compatible with computers running Windows 7, 8, 10 or Mac OS 10.11 - 10.14 and requires a USB port. You would want to consider the ES-60W, which is the version of the scanner that has wireless connectivity. Once you scan a document, can you set it up where the document will it go directly to your drop box?

Accepted Answer

After you scan the document, there are many options - save, attach to email, send to google drive, dropbox, evernote, one drive, word, excel, powerpoint.  You may need to download another app, but then you login to your account, select a folder, filename and format of jpeg, pdf or searchable pdf.

One very important thing is to come up with a standard naming format since the software defaults to "document 20190128_001" style of format.  I'm using a "20190128 vendor purpose" format and then filing in a client/function specific folder.  A bit of work on input, but it will be easier to locate later.  I am also starting with current year material and will decide what to scan of past papers after I have a bit of experience on going digital.
