Excellent camera. Purchased five with four in place now for a month. Easy setup with charging, firmware upgrade and immediate connection to wifi. Haven't had any issues with wifi with repeaters up to 20m from camera. A bit of flexibility required initially to position for best effect by day and by night to get the sweet spot for both while experimenting with the detection sensitivity and the 145 degree field of view. Solar charging has been excellent with battery retained at >95% on all cameras. When positioned correctly night vision is very good. Very few false alerts from PIR/radar. 4k resolution provides a very good picture and micro-sd card recording and playback has worked very well. I have found the baseus security app to be very good and with good options to notify, record, capture etc. Cameras have been up in strong winds and heavy rain and maintained performance including connectivity.

The camera arrived quickly and the image quality is excellent. The initial Wi Fi setup was a bit tricky with our dual band smart router; the camera wouldn’t connect until we temporarily disabled the 5 GHz band so it could join the 2.4 GHz network. Once connected, setup was easy and even fun. Compared with our wired Ring camera, this one’s solar charging means no need to worry about a nearby power outlet, and there are no monthly fees. We love it!

This by far is the best quality security camera I own so far! The app compatibility was outstanding and reliable. The best part is that it records footage on device and doesn’t need subscriptions. There’s a rotating solar panel that charges the battery and I don’t need to touch it at all! This is such a groundbreaking feature I’m really amazed with it. The camera footage is clear in 4K also records at night in black and white and will alert me on my phone when there’s movement.

Impressive 4K quality! The solar tracking is a genius feature, and I love having AI face recognition with no monthly fees. Setup was easy, and the radar detection is spot on. Best security upgrade!

Nice camera for the money. Works well and was easy to set up but not easy to direct and aim. Not crazy for the software which is rather limited in features. But overall it does just what I needed for a reasonable cost and no need for a subscription. Buy a mini SD card with this.

I give it one star then changed to 3 Now back to one for the simple fact of WiFi range and connectivity and playback. With the wireless access router in the same area as the camera and it fails to playback, takes minutes to open a clip, not all the time but enough for me to pull my hair out. On top of that it records an incident almost at the end. You get an alert, check the clip and the subject iqs out of the view and you watch empty scene. I’m disappointed with this device. The sound quality is poor, and I couldn’t recognize my own voice when I recorded myself. There’s also an issue with the alert, as the image it displays is often inaccurate or fails to appear at all. The WiFi range is limited, and when viewing the screen live, the camera doesn’t record what’s being watched. You have to press the record button manually. Additionally, when used as a spotlight, the camera won’t record. Despite having a facial recognition option, the Terms of Service essentially authorize the app to use your data however they please. There are only two recording options: 4K or 720p, with no in-between options. The 4K recording takes a long time, and the 720p option is outdated. Furthermore, there are times when the camera fails to record even though it’s fully charged, and there are missing hours or calendar entries with no data.

. The radar + PIR combo really cuts down on junk alerts (wind/branches), and the 4K image is sharp enough to read details I used to miss. Night vision is surprisingly good—spotlight only kicks on when it actually matters. It is truly a great security camera for my home
