Micro Mix - Sinking Blended Diet for Snails, Shrimp & Bottom Feeding Fish (9 oz (255g))

I bought this product after doing a lot of research and seeing it recommended in a Facebook group. I was skeptical at first, but I ended up making the purchase for the bigger bag. My snails love it, and so do my shrimp. Even my fish eat it. I feel this product is a great value for your money. I still have a lot left, and I purchased it over four months ago. The pellets and waffle are a great size; they have all the nutrients my snails and shrimp need, and they sink quickly to the bottom of the tank. It's super easy to use; however, if you leave a pellet in the tank for long and it doesn't get eaten, it will rot and could spike ammonia. I will continue using this product as my shrimp and snails love it. I highly recommend it.

My snails readily eat the brown pellets once they soften, but only eat the wafers if there is nothing else around. I think next time I will order this companies same bag that is just pellets.

The first thing I noticed about this food was how much it affected the cleanliness of the water. It dirties water very quickly. Both the size of the discs and the pellets seem to be appropriate for little bottom feeders and animals. There is very little smell to them, and even though they are light they sink pretty quickly. I do not feel that it improved the quality of the type of animals that I had in my tank. The price is way too high for the outcome of the product. We have sent stopped using it.

Really great product that my corydoras go crazy for. My corydoras love to eat, but they usually just sift the sand. They immediately hunt down these pellets, so I’m assuming they like the smell and quality of the product. Otocinclus like the green discs- they seek them out. I made sure I left a review here. Hopefully I can remember to reorder this product
