Fun retro-modern clock!
The media could not be loaded. This is a review for the Mooas Store brand of an automatic mini flip clock. It gives a very cool retro vibe, with modern day USB-C charging. It has a timer and calendar, alarm function with snooze. I didn't find the functions easy to use, nor convenient. The display is large, but not lighted so this would be great for your desk during the day, but not so much for night-time on your bedside table. The flipping of the time cards is relatively quiet, nearly silent, but not completely, which I like and find fun to see/faintly hear the time passing by. The clock comes in 2 pieces - the main clock unit, and a magnetic wooden base. The main clock unit is supposed to attach the base, but the magnets are weak and do not attract the clock and base very well. Hence, be prepared to see the clock fall off the base if you accidentally bump the unit. This of course can easily be solved by securing the two parts together with glue, stronger magnets, or maybe double-sided tape. I will just leave them alone though since the clock is on a spot on my desk where I won't likely bump it. Overall, I love the aesthetics of the clock and plan to use it simply for checking the time. Seems like good quality, well built, and overall durable. I think it's a good value for the money. Just love the look! Great find!

Looks cool and I love it but it's not secure to the base which I do not like
First things first: it says the base is magnetic and I guess technically they're right because I pulled the belt off and actually had to verify that there was magnets there in there are but they don't attract anything. They're supposed to be attracting to the screws on the bottom of the clock but they don't because the screws are too far indented they're basically out of reach of the magnet and the magnets are not very powerful anyway. So for all intents and purposes it is not a magnetic base and therefore the clock does not stay on the base if you try to move it or anything it's very frustratingThere is absolutely no attempt to stay on the base if you try to pick the clock up or anything so I'm probably just going to glue it to the base. There's no reason to have to get to the bottom unless I'm going to take the clock apart. In fact I find it ridiculous that they didn't actually secure it to the base. Anyway, it's a minor issue so I'm only taking a star away due to the fact it's such an easy fix and such a minor issue.Beyond that it's a little tough to figure out how to set the time. Let me rephrase: it's difficult to understand what it's doing while you're setting it.What happens is, you have to long press the dial (not a button, but the actual knob on the back) then you turn the dial to set the time, but if you go too far or try to go backwards it starts to go really fast and you can't stop it. That's intentional. What it's doing is going all the way around to start over at the beginning. If you turn it slowly, it will go one flap at a time.It comes with the ability to track the date, set alarms and use as a timerI love that it reminds me of Groundhog Day. I haven't set any alarms or anything (as i use my phone for alarms and of course my alarm is "then put your little hand in mine, there ain't no hill or mountain we can't climb" 😆 it makes me happy as does watching the time change on this clockI definitely like it and I definitely recommend it. It's a nice way to have the new merge with the old. It's a really good idea and I applaud the manufacturer. I hope to see more stuff like this. It looks really cool

Soooo cool looking and works great!
This clock is the bomb. Honestly, it almost has that ticking time bomb vibe, too! I love it. Such a neat design, wish I got it in white too. I love retro looking stuff and I haven't seen a clock like this in a long time. Personally, I also wanted it for the "LOST" countdown timer reference too :). It didn't take long to fully charge and I imagine it'll stay on a very long time, but there is a card in the roll that alerts you when it is time to charge back up.I've used all the modes and you can set the date with year as well in calendar mode and use it that way. The alarm function works great, but as far as I can tell the timer only counts up and it's a little annoying. If there's a way to set it to "5 minutes" or something I haven't figured it out and it would be a nice addition. But the alarm works fine for that purpose. It is VERY sturdy, and the wood block that it magnetically attaches to is beautiful and classy looking. I'm very impressed and glad I discovered this company and their designs!
