Water with better flavor and healthier.
I really liked this jug. It has a beautiful and modern design, and its size of 1.9 liters is very practical for keeping filtered water in the refrigerator. The filter is a plus point, since it is designed to reduce substances such as chlorine, lead, while helping to conserve the beneficial minerals of water.

Fantastic quality and great tasting water!
Love this LARQ pitcher! It was super easy to set up, looks sleek, and the water tastes remarkably crisp and clean. The 8-cup capacity is the perfect size for everyday use. Highly recommended!

Water tastes so much better
Water tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher, and I love having cold filtered water ready in the fridge. The pitcher feels sturdy and looks nice too. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in the taste, and I’m really happy with this purchase.

Pitcher does not filter water & lid was defective
Door on top of lid did not open when faucet water ran on it. Took of lid to add water. After 3 fills the water quality did NOT improve. It remained at 66 as measured by my water test meter. I purchased another brand with zero in the name and instantly got a value of 0 on my water meter.

Aesthetically pleasing
Ever since I saw this company pitch on shark tank, I’ve been a big fan. Having several of their water bottles that have been standing the test of time, I know I can trust this larger water pitcher. Are you deciding to make the switch from brita for your large water filtering? Me too. So far, the overall design of the pitcher does appear to be more high-end, however, the execution is a bit cumbersome. Unlike other pitchers I’ve had where you lift the top to add water, the LARQ pitcher is a bit different. The lid of the pitcher is a down hinge, meaning you need to physically push it down to open the reservoir - this does not allow you (at least in my testing) to directly pour water onto the lid with just the force of the water faucet. You need to push the lid downwards with your finger and keep it open while you add water. Is this a deal breaker? I’m not sure, I’ll need to gauge how annoying it is for everyday use over a few weeks. How’s the filter? Seems to work just as well as my brita, no difference in taste from what I can tell. The LARQ filter is rated for 3 months of use which is significantly longer than the brita filters. When inserting the filter, you need to soak it for 10 minutes, then rinse, and then can place it into the pitcher. The filter did produce cloudy water for the first 3 cups of water, so run it thru a few times til it filters totally clear. The cloudy appearance is from the charcoal which isn’t toxic but I wouldn’t take a big gulp just because. Filtering speed? It took 1:34 for the new filter to run 1 cup through for the very first time. Then, it took 3:04 for 2 cups of water - your mileage may vary once the filter is used more. The first filtering was a bit drippy for about 20-30 seconds and then it was a consistent stream. Overall verdict? It’s a visually appealing pitcher design that looks premium compared to other brands and has the company reputation for water filtering technology. Will this be my permanent large water filtering pitcher? Only time will tell. I had a hard time finding filter replacements so I’m not entirely sure what the price comparison is between this recurring cost vs my typical brita filters.

Excellent filtration, no more chlorine taste
No complaints so far. This pitcher filters the water nicely. Living in Florida, we deal with a lot of chlorine in our local water, but I taste absolutely none of it after it goes through this filter.

Muy cómodo y con agua de gran sabor
Muy cómodo: no tienes miedo de que la tapa se caiga al servir el agua, y además es muy fácil rellenarlo. Bonito. El sabor del agua es muy bueno!

Why do I choose LARQ products?
One of the best water filter pitchers i've ever used. I chose this brand over Britain's. It is superior.
