I guess you could use this a glorified (or strange) tiki shot glass, but this is overall not very useful as a beverage glass. The concept, I should add, is awesome, and I thought it would be larger and more utilitarian while also having the visual element. As it is, however, the shell is too thin, and looks broken actually. It's hard to sip at any particular point, as you will get dribbles because of the ridges in all parts of the shell. To top it off, you're only getting max 1.3oz (volume test shown) before it goes everywhere...to say nothing of when you attempt to move what is essentially a very flat glass. I might get one or two shots of this in photography just for the visual element on some nautical themed shot (not a drink), but otherwise, it's just not super useful...perhaps as decoration?
