GoPro sets the standard
I research lots for best action camera. I bought a cheap Akaso on amazon as my first. I was very disappointed. The reviews online compared GoPro against the cheap Akaso and it is not even close. Sure you pay 5 times more but it is worth it. What I like about GoPro 11 is the android app. The app itself is awesome. I can connect to the GoPro with blu tooth to my phone. I can control, download recordings and also see from the camera's lens perspective by using my phone. So if have Gopro mounted on my hat, I can look at my android phone through the app to see what the camera is seeing.

What does renewed mean how does it look?
How does it look after it's renewed... that was my thought but I took a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. It looks brand new. I had another hero 11 so I could compare and it seems absolutely perfect. I do not know whether the battery is brand new but it came out of a sealed pack it as if it was.

It overheats
I bought and use this camera solely for recording my son's baseball games. In cool weather it works great. I can leave the internal battery in and plug a brick battery into it and record all day long. In hot weather it's a totally different story. Anything above 90°F temps and I run into issues with it overheating and shutting off. I have resorted to pulling out the internal battery and leaving the door open while plugged to the brick battery and although this helps, I need to figure out a way to shade it. I hate pulling out the internal battery because then you lose the time and date. GoPro needs to fix this issue as I've read it is very common.
