We suggest always using the best freshwater source to backwash the straw filter after each use. Note: Be sure to dry it and store it.

Can gravity bags and disposable water bottles be connected?

The straw can not only connect to a disposable water bottle, but also serve as a replacement filter for gravity filtration systems. This also applies to our gravity filter system "B0CN6L5KLT".

Does it work with seawater?

No, it's more ideal for lakes, rivers, ponds, snow water, streams, etc. Municipal water filtration also works well.

What is its shelf life?

Our personal filter straw will last indefinitely if not used and stored in a protected environment at moderate temperature and humidity.
