Waxed Canvas Duffel Bag

Didn’t know what to expect since I never bought this brand before. Was impressed with quality and craftsmanship. It’s a simple bag but makes a statement. I’m an outdoors guy and can use this when camping or as a carry on an airplane. Will be looking more into some of there other products.

I really like the canvass, I believe this bag will out last me, I am very happy with this brand and bag.

I had ordered some purchased some small canvas zip up bags from Readywares to store machining tools in and they were very high quality and made with YKK zippers. My biggest hesitation before ordering was the reviews state it doesn’t have ykk zippers. I’ve had many great bags that the zippers blew out on. I chanced it and it ended up coming with YKK zippers. Well constructed with two full straps to take long term stress and weight. People also said it was small, I strikes me as a typical duffle bag. Perfect carry on size.

So far really like the bag. Zipper is heavy duty , and its just the right size for an overnight bag. Only thing that I’ve noticed it could use are zipper pulls. But would definitely recommend the bag.

Good bag. Great material. Zipper is junk. Threads at the ends of the zipper came lose and pull tabs come out. Now, even if pull tabs are installed back the teeth are not holding.

Not for clothes, but it very well could be. No, this was purchased as a tool bag....Bonsai Tool Bag. I have a collection of tools in various pouches and laying free. I needed the 20" length because the 14" length was not allowing me to store a couple items that I wanted available without having to hand carry them. This bag is tough; tough enough to carry about 20 pounds of tools, wire, tool cleaning materials, rooting material and even antiseptic tool wipes. There is room left over if I want to transport bags of bonsai soil.To answer an earlier question, it is manufactured in China, but it is absolute quality with tough waxed canvas, with double stitching on main zipper. The inside stitching has binding tape on edges with single stitching through the binding tape. Heavy duty brass zippers with two zipper tabs (handles) on the top opening. The one side pocket that is for smaller flat items has a single tab zipper. The carrying straps are cloth web belt type material. There are no feet on the bottom, only the web straps. The main top handle straps have a Velcro type wrap to act as a padded handle for carrying and keeping the two straps together.Although a little pricey, this is ONE TOUGH bag and it looks good. Used for tools or used for clothes, this should last a lifetime of hard service.
