Red Heart Classic Crochet, Thread White Size 10

My absolute favorite crochet thread for making bedspreads! Strong and durable. No worries of this bedspread lasting long enough to be an heirloom.

This is great for all christmas balls amd angels

- The quality of this thread is excellent - it *is* very smooth and strong, feels pleasant to the touch, has a good *tight* twist to the ply threads so it's staying together and not unravelling as I'm starting to cast on - and last but not least, this white is definitely a pure, *bright* white! So for people who do their own dying, it will yield pure colors. I might even give that a try myself. - I was gambling with this purchase, because the price was so reasonable that I was a bit concerned, LOL!! But it received so many good reviews that I went ahead and bought 4. And I'm very happy that I did, because it's just that nice =:-) - At first, I admittedly thought it was a bit too "stiff" for lace knitting, but I definitely changed my mind after I received the good knitting-needles I'd ordered and worked with this thread on those; they also are 3mm, whereas I had originally tried using 2mm. So the slightly larger size ((i.e., 3mm)) and the much better quality needles ((very smooth, and pointy!)) made me like this fiber even more =:-) I still think it might have some sizing in it, so I would like to wash it, but I don't know how to go about washing a ball of crochet thread, LOL! But it's fine. - Now I'm thinking I ought to grab some more, just to keep it on hand... ;)

This "classic" cotton thread is great. The thread is consistent throughout the ball, something that can't be said for every yarn or thread product for crocheting (or knitting, for that matter). I'm using it to crochet retention bandages for leprosy patients in the Philippines. They take a bit of time to make, but are simple and affordable, thanks to this 1,000 yard/914 meter put-up. So glad I could get it here!

Good value. Sturdy thread for long life. Makes easy to work with.

Great product. Easy to work with. Creates great results for filet crochet projects. Only drawback is the thread has a funky smell — may have absorbed some moisture/stored in a humid environment for a while. Otherwise, great product.

It is very hard to find this size skein in the stores. It is best quality for what I’m making will be comfortable to wear and is a great value.

Just right for bead crochet work ~ ( 😂 ~ just don’t make the mistake of buying size 15/0 beads ~ their way to small ~ size 10/0 and up works) there is enough on one ball to do many small items or a few bigger items! Will purchase again!!

This cotton thread is exceptionally soft and delightful to work with. Finished product is a little weightier and softer, which adds to its appeal.
