I got this with the intention of using it to secure my xena disc lock to a post in the public garage where I park my bike - so I didn't have to carry it around with me everywhere.Unfortunately, because the adapter (the piece of metal that slides into the lock) is C shaped it can be removed, even when the locking pin is engaged.So in other words, the cable and adapter are only securely attached to the lock when the lock is locked to a brake disc.The C shape also means that the adapter can probably be bent open pretty easily.The cable is not the strongest looking either (much more plastic sleeve than steel wire) and I wouldn't trust it to lock my good helmet to my bike and definitely not to secure the bike itself to anything.
