Compagnie de Provence Marseille Luxe Liquid Soap and Refill, Fig Provence

I have spent an obscene amount of money on soaps before. Krigler, Aqua Di Parma, Aesop, Malin & Goetz, Savon, and more. All of them all smell lovely and people tend to choose whatever scent they like. Personally, I love the black tea scent, and I find the soap to be appropriately moisturizing, but not too overzealous. The Packing is fabulous! This is often an overlooked component of the equation, but these beautiful black glass bottles (which ship with these fabulous black mesh sleeves that I actually leave on), are a decoration in any room. I love glass, it is much classier than plastic (I’m coming for you Aesop), and the product stays more stable. Scent is obviously very much up to personal taste, and it is hard to put a value on this. Obviously not the cheapest soap you could get, but if you are considering this price range, this soap is amazing, and not terribly unreasonable, when you consider the refill that is included.

Item came very well packed and very quickly, thank you! Marseille soap is a typical antibacterial soap widely used in France and Italy. We use Marseille Soap also as laundry detergent, surface cleaner, spot remover, you name it! Compagnie de Provence is a French Brand that specializes in Marseille soap (of course) and they know what they are doing. Their soap is exceptional and leaves a very nice (but gentle) scent on your hands without drying them out. I am French-Italian and to me the smell of Fig de Provence brings back many memories from when I lived in Paris or worked in Nice/ Aix en Provence. I am so addicted I just had to order another bottle!

I’ve used this soap for more than a decade, always with great results and compliments from quests. Wide variety of fragrance choices, natural and lovely. Foams up and rinses well. Gorgeous scent. The glass bottles are lovely, sturdy, and reusable for years. I highly recommend.

I have used several different liquid hand soaps and I have found this is my favorite. It is like washing your hands with a moisturizer It has a soft feel. It does not dry my hands out like other soaps. It has a soft fragrance of lavender. I will continue to purchase this soap.

Love this soap. But this time it arrived broken and a mess

The scent is subtle and fresh and the soap foams perfectly, cleaning without drying. I love the glass bottles - eradicating plastic from my counters improves the room. An indulgence as there are cheaper soaps of course, but this is worth every penny.

I love the smell of this soap - pure orange blossoms - and it is very mild on my skin. My cat likes it too, and gives my hands a thorough cat wash when I have used it. There can be no higher compliment than that.
