Wish they were for me!
Beautiful presentation box similar to a book that has been hollowed out to stash secret items in!Magnetic closure is good.Plastic wrapped cards inside.Wish this was my own present instead of a Christmas gift - I'm not sure I'll be there when they get opened so I can be guaranteed to look through the cards! :(Might be worth staying longer with the family at Christmas just so I can check these out!!

Endless fun.
I rarely give anything 5 out of 5 as NOTHING is perfect. HOWEVER, this is absolutely brilliant. I've only had a day and, already, my grandchildren love it.The pictures are fascinating and the possibilities endless.

Great idea - and brilliant artwork
Really fantastic set - often too busy admiring the images to actually tell stories!

Wonderful
I bought these for myself but my 7 year old son soon adopted them, and we both love them. They’re beautifully drawn, atmospheric and so, so cleverly conceived. We love using them to make up stories, tell fortunes and create games. They’d make a brilliant gift.

Fantastically illustrated and creative storytelling game!
Maybe it's the sci-fi nerd in me speaking, or maybe it's the fiction writer in me, but I adore this game. I love the open ended aspect, and I love the inspiration it provides. Getting a couple friends together to have a collaborative experience is always a fun time (I've enjoyed making a drinking game out of it — if someone tries to take the story in a particularly erroneous direction, they've gotta drink and try again. Makes for quite an interesting story by the end!), and I love this particular setup. The cards are beautifully designed and each one is so incredibly rich with delicately drawn visuals, it's almost worth having if only for that!I'm looking forward to trying out more games from this publisher. What a treat.Edit: it’s worth mentioning that, while this is a game, the rules are VERY loose. It is a storytelling game in its purest form, and there aren’t very clear win conditions. If you enjoy games like “Once Upon a Time” that have clear win and loss conditions, be prepared for a bit more of a freeform play experience.

Fantastic storytelling game
I teach high school English and these are a great - and sturdy - way to get students thinking creatively. I love how each piece fits with every other piece no matter what sequence you put them in and I love that the manufacture provides different approaches, including games, to take when using these cards.

Fun and Quality
I use these cards in my classroom to help students generate story ideas. It's fantastic fun and often leaves students surprised with how much they enjoy writing. The quality of the cards it top notch, though if you use them as much as I do you might want to consider lamination, just for that extra layer of protection. The art work, as with this entire series of cards, is beautiful. The only reason I didn't give this a five star rating was that some of my students found it weird that there were fish in space. Personally, I didn't mind, but you should know before you purchase.
