Do not buy this!
Lack of power. This requires it's own strong that comes in a cartridge; dual strong. If one of the strings cuts too deep, well in addition of no power trying to cut grass with one string is impossible.The cartridges are a bit expensive and hard to find. I will say that in a few months this cartridges will no longer be manufactured and you will have a weedeater that cannot longer be used.Horrible, don't buy this. Safe your money and buy something better.

Gets the job done...
The weed eater works great...after I took that little wheel back off...I wish the weed shield was turned a bit..it blows clippings back on you.

DO NOT BUY - the replacement string cartridges are no longer available.
The catridges are no longer manufactured and nothing else we can find fits. Amazon continues to sell the trimmer which is dishonest since it becomes worthless once you run out of the cutting string!

Discription
The instructions are pretty bad.I had three people try to figure out how the spool cover opens. And we still didn't figure it out. We tried youtube it and Google it and we couldn't find one the one similar to this one. On videos we looked it looked super easy.The instructions on how to assemble the trimmer needs working and the pictures. Maybe create a video and place a link in the discription on how to do it step by step.
