I have arthritis so the touch feature was nice. The bright light on the third touch was helpful to my aging eye sight. After two months use, the first 2 touch settings give only a flicker. The third touch setting worked a bit longer. Than nothing worked.COMMENT CONTINUED - PLEASE NOTE:The manufacturer quickly sent a replacement. With the help of a friend we discovered that both lamps, the original purchase and replacement, work fine. It was the ADAPTER on the original purchase that failed. I do like the lamp.
